I've had the evo 54 inch cutter for a few week. The BIGGEST issue I have is I cannot change the measurement units . The machine reads in millimeters and I cannot change it.

It is possible to set cutting of the piece of vinyl after finishing the task? Like i want to cut off 10 circles in one row, cut off all of it, and then make another 10 circles?
Where did you get the carrier sheet? I don't see any on your website.

Yes, just adjust the force you should be good
hello can we do two different force cut in one cut. like cut 40g 1st then after that 80g.
You can do multiple passes, but only at the same pressure.

I have the same package i just got it in the mail. Im having trouble with the registration marks, its wont go past the 3rd registration mark. It stops reading on the fourth and it says to re start. Where can i get some help?

Wait How do you get color on it? Also When you put it in the printer is that Vinyl like siser weed?
For this video, we used a piece of regular copy paper, printed on the Canon Pixma iX6820 (forward to 2:56). But to put on a t-shirt, you'll want to use heat transfer paper. Can any type of carrier sheet be used?
Sure, as long as it's sturdy enough to not crumple when rolled through the cutter. We really like using the Silhouette cutting mats - www.heatpressnation.com/products/silhouette-cameo-cutting-mat-12-x-24?_pos=6&_sid=ccc7e854b&_ss=r
has this worked for anybody??? everything leading up to contour cutting has been successful.
but this is bad.. maybe some steps need to be added but my scanner isnt reading anything......

A couple general tips:
- Bright lights can affect the laser's ability to read the contour marks
- Load the printed sheet in the exact orientation as shown in SignMaster
- Print scale should be 1:1 / 100%. Anything else may cause issues with registering.
- If mirroring the image, do so in SignMaster. Do not allow the printer to perform mirroring.
Hi! Can I use a normal non sticker paper to test the results as shown in the video???
Definitely! When testing and calibrating our contour cutting, we'll use cardstock or regular paper.

Why won't it scan the registration marks? It just proceeds to cutting
You can see the machine scanning the registration marks at about 3:56-4:17.

On the specialist it don’t show like this
The Specialist does not support contour cutting. So it will not have these features.

Send to cutter -> Cutter Control Tab -> Passes
Each pass is how many times it'll be cut. Set it to 2 for a double cut, 3 for triple, etc.

Yes, you definitely can. However, since the Specialist does not have an optical eye for contour cutting, that feature will not work.

In all my images he tells me that there is nothing to cut. What I can do?
- Make sure your image is in a vector format. Raster images will not cut.
- Delete any elements that you do not want cut. Select only the vector graphic you want to send.

Sorry, but SignMaster does not support Arabic text. It works in English and Chinese only.

Can you PLEASE help I've had this machine and can NEVER get it to work?
1. when trying to cut, no matter what size mat I use it either spits it out or the mat start to shift, how can I prevent this?
2. is it recommended to use a mat or some sort of carrier sheet?
3. it will not read the registration marks, is there some sort of calabration that can be done?
4. when loading a smaller sheet (11x17). where exactlly should it be loaded? at thr far right under the control panel. far left or middle, or does it matter?

No, SignMaster & SignMaster Pro will only work with Windows computers.

It seems impossible to find any information anywhere on how to calibrate these machines. Nothing on optical scanners, only laser.
People don't waste your money on this when you do have a problem they tell you it'll be one or two business days before we can help you but yet they want you to spend $700 on one of their machines

Looks like is the same cutter that Vevor sells. Often it's made by one company and put different brands on them.
"Selected Objects" is greyed out for me and there is no Include "Full Bonds" option either.
You did not select the item you are attempting to contour cut before selecting the contour cut wizard.

how large of an image can signmaster pro print and cut/contour cut?
Depends on the max cutting width of the cutter. We have Vinyl Systems cutters that range in size from 24" up to 52". You'll want to keep the registration marks within the max cutting width of the cutter, so they can be read by the laser.

If it came with your machine, then it should work. The version of SignMaster that we sell the Vinyl Systems edition, so ours only works with Vinyl Systems cutters.

i cant get my edge to contour cut i’m doing all the correct steps as you indicate in this video step-by-step and my machine scans the first mark then go to the other ones lol in it drags like an inch past the registration market in scans to happen that goes over to the other side it’s past paper and it reads up to the third one it doesn’t go back to its original spot and it fails the detection test every time

How do I get the white paper and clear paper to print my design out what are those steps to get the logo printed out in color
Travis explains this at 2:52. The printing is done on a separate machine, in this case it's our Canon Pixma iX6820 inkjet printer. From SignMaster, send the traced image with contour marks to the printer. Once it's done printing on your heat transfer paper, you then bring it to your vinyl cutter for contour cutting.
A carrier sheet (heat.press/multitackcarrier) or cutting mat (heat.press/cameomat1224) is important for this process. It holds the paper in place and keeps it from getting shredded during the contour cutting process.

Sorry, but the VinylSystems Specialist does not have contour cutting capabilities. For that, you'd need a cutter like the GCC Expert II LX (shown in this video), VinylSystems Edge, Silhouette Cameo, or similar machine. No, not every cutter can do this. You're correct - the cutter must have a laser sensor to detect the printed contour marks. The Vinyl Systems Edge & Evo cutters can do this, as well as the Silhouette and Graphtec brands of cutters. All GCC cutters with the "LX" indication can also contour cut.

How did you get the marks in each corner?
These are created by the cutting software and are sent to print with the image. If your vinyl cutter has contour cut (sometimes called print & cut) capabilities, you should have the option to add the registration marks in the included cutting software.

You guys definelty need to find another program to use. There is no videos or tutorials from either you or the manufacturer and how to do anything with this software beyond basic stuff. If you go and try to find answers from the companys FB page it just shows many people over the years who have asked questions and never gotten any answers. This software seems to be a ripoff of Vinyl Master which is the closest thing to it but still different enough to not show how to do basic or more advanced things.
Like, does this software offer an "Eraser" icon?
Does it allow for masking?

SignMaster is actually developed by the same software company that makes Vinyl Master, which is why they're both very similar.

I agree. The lack of resources is horrible. I'm starting to regret this purchase. They really need to put out practical videos. The manual is useless.

Vectorization & Contour Cutting can only be done on SignMaster Pro. SignMaster Basic is for the Specialist vinyl cutter, which cannot contour cut. So those features are not included in the Basic version of the program.
What’s vector format and how do I find it?
Vector formats are usually .EPS, .SVG, .AI, and sometimes .PDF. These are graphics that are made up of lots of shapes. Raster images are those made up of lots of pixels - like .JPEG, .PNG, etc.
Because vector graphics are made up of shapes, you can stretch them, shrink them, and they will keep their perfect definition. (If you stretch out a JPEG, it'll get all nasty and pixelated.)
SignMaster Pro allows you to convert raster images (like JPEG) into vector images (like SVG).
