Hey folks! Josh here - the founder of the channel! I drop in sometimes and narrate the videos :) We have an unbelievable TH-cam project we're working on. We're starting a new channel soon that will feature visualizations of obscure but very possible scientific theories. Theories showing unbelievable possibilities of how things could work. We haven't launched it yet, but drop me a follow on Instagram (link in description) to keep up to date. Going to be a totally new thing on TH-cam.

Oldest tree over 5000 years. Oldest living organism 60,000 years a grove of trees in Russia. Tree roots eventually connect and grow together and become a single living organism. Its believed this gives them the ability to move water great distances to dry areas from wetter areas. When the squirrel population in northern pine forest gets to big the trees stop growing cones starving them out then all together over hundreds of miles produce a bumper crop to many to eat ensuring some will grow. Go stand in a forest you should be able to 'feel them grow' then try a open field you should notice that feeling missing. Try it.

Know the reason that this video doesn't have as many views us that literaly almost all of these trees are still healthy and NOT cut-down like the 5000 year old tree in nevada(at least I think it's in nevada) and general Sherman was always the largest tree that you could come close to. All the other sequoia trees still exist and are not cut down but there not as large as general Sherman. The actual biggest ones location is secret like the worshur trees (I think that's how you spell them) but one of the largest if not the largest tree is the origin tree. I don't know if it's a whorshur tree or some other spices of tree but but it's there. Don't believe me? Look it up. It's very beautiful. These trees were used in star wars for the planet kashyyyk. And they look axactly the same, they just added a lot of tree houses in them only someone who watches star wars will understand. Like whorsur beach it's the same just no wockie homes and no war.
