You should switch to the purple conditioner by that same brand instead of the shampoo. It will do the same thing without stripping the natural moisture out the hair. Love the color yours came out looks dope

thank you! i used a direct dye starting from my roots.... the dish soap method worked for me, i was worried about it drying out my hair, but after cowashing i got a similar result to you. subscribed and liked!
i used lavender smoke from target and it had a really pretty neony purple result and it says on the box "tends to fade to gray" which was expedited by the dawn dish soap. i only use the stuff with the baby duck on it! worked for me-- thanks
I put the blue shampoo on my hair first then wash it out with normal shampoo after then conditioner. It works the same and not so harsh to the hair as washing up liquid. But it don’t matter of your doing it on a wig .Great tutorial.

I think it all depends on the hair because I did several things to get the purple streaks out I watched so many videos I used lemons , baking soda , the dawn soap Chile nothing worked so I just had to keep the streaks but I’ve seen many videos where it works for some people 🤷🏽♀️
Leave the dish soap for at least 25 minutes and if that doesn’t work mix it with lemon juice and baking soda
It depends on the hair quality. This method absolutely works. I’ve done it many times.

@y y right. That's ACTUALLY rather cheap for that color. Those bundles usually start off at $65 for 12" and $85 for a 12" closure.

Hey Brianna :) Thanks for doing this video. I have alopecia and a human hair wig that I died too dark. I was planning on bleaching it using a watercolor method I'd seen on another video (she used BW2 powder and 30 V developer), which will turn it blonde. I'd rather have it be white though (my hair was already turning white when I started losing it so that would look more natural on me). Do you think there is any problem with me bleaching it first with the watercolor method and then following your steps to turn it white?
I also wanted to ask: did you rinse it out after the purple shampoo (before you added the platinum color)?
I’m no expert but bleaching a wig that is already blonde can cause it to be ruined. I’ve heard ppl use color remover on blonde hair.
& yes you rinse out the purple so it doesn’t have that tint before using the platinum
@@chrissyv2357 thanks Chrissy. The wig is dark brown right now (it wasn't ever blonde). The reason I was thinking of bleaching it is because it came out too dark (I was trying to cover copper highlights with an ashy brown but it just came out a dark chocolate). I decided it just doesn't look good on me as a color. I used to have dark hair but I've lost my eyebrows as well as the hair and they are coming back white, so the dark hair just looks really stark.
Can you list where the actual wig is from? I know you customize wigs and want to promote your business and that’s great. I love supporting black business’s. But can we know where the wig is from. I actually would rather try your method but I’d rather do it myself.

I feel like there’s some missing steps from this video or something because it absolutely did not work for me.
It doesn't work for most black womens hair...it left purple streaks in my hair, however it worked on my wig...womp womp. The purple did wash out after leaving it alone for 4 days...but it was still purple...i am going to try again and use this adore product this time around. My hair is dang platinum blonde...

You have to water color each section first starting with this color then the grey and at the end the black

You can use any clarifying shampoo yet dawn is cheaper. Be sure to restore the moisture back into your wig because it strips it out.

Does the wig have to be blonde ? Or can it be black and then turned into that color ?
You’ll have to bleach it, but that will most likely damage the wig because you’ll have to bleach it at least 4 times in order for it to be a 613 color. And if you don’t know what you are doing, you will ruin your wig and waste all your money lmao

No, you have to bleach the hair. Toning it to grey only works if the hair is blonde or a pale yellow color
