1:35 Tim's quick transition into Decker was so seamless. So many actors need to build up and rehearse before going into a character but Tim does it with such ease.
Tim is playing a very dangerous game slipping between persona's like that. I hope he doesn't lose himself completely.. There was a moment there, I thought Decker took control, like he always does against Iran and ISIS.
I love Joe Estevez, but I think it was a little unprofessional to come on the show without watching the movies first. Tim and Gregg always make time to watch every movie and give us in depth analysis with tubs of popcorn and, sometimes, bags of soda.

Gregg, Tim's facial expression towards your "darker side of Alien" line was well deserved. You might've SEEN a whole lot of movies, but Gregg, that doesn't mean you KNOW a whole lot ABOUT movies! lol
I had to re-watch that part multiple times in a row. His face is so funny when he realizes that the self-proclaimed “Film expert” called “Chappie” the DARKER side of Alien.
When Tim said "Directed by John Madden" and Joe was like "good coach" I burst out laughing. Thats why I love this series its just little things that aren't even jokes or anything that make me laugh
It’s not a joke at all. He was a great coach. I didn’t even know he had gotten into directing (movies), which is the kind of expertise I’ve really come appreciate from On Cinema
Unofficial sequel to alien? I think we all made the same face Tim did when Gregg said that. The guy lands a role in Ant-Man and now all of a sudden thinks he can just say whatever the hell he wants.
The 'Huge Jackman' read is one of my all-time favorite On Cinema moments. Maybe it's just me, but I find it extraordinary that none of them broke character there.

Gregg was pretty good in this episode but that cannot be said without acknowledging Joe's presence and the reality that Gregg must feel more pressure when he has to try and out charm and out wit Joe Estevez. Keep Joe around and expect Gregg to bring more energy on set. I didn't like Gregg relating "Chappie" and "Alien" bc it is way off base. Deck- I mean Tim seemed to notice. Tim's face @5:58 was my favorite. So, Tim doled out 15 bags of soda to SBMH or did he take back the initial 10 and then gave back 5? If he did give it the 15, I believe that's an official all time high for bags of soda given by Tim.
Really excited about the new season of Decker, but a little worried about Tim allowing Gregg to write for the show. It is of course understandable with Tim's new duties as father to little Tom Cruise Heidecker, but I just hope the quality of the show doesn't suffer as a result.
I don't think Tim would allow Gregg to take part in the writing if he didn't have absolute confidence in his abilities. Tim is essentially taking Gregg under his wing and really giving him the opportunity of a lifetime. Gregg could screw this up and ruin both of their careers single-handedly, but with a talent like Tim looking over his shoulder, that's an impossibility. Is Marigold Hotel really 8 bags of soda better than Chappie, Tim? Maybe you need to spend a little less energy on Decker and a little more on your film buffery. Gregg's ratings were right on the money, as usual.
I feel like Joe’s question about Tim’s true identity at 4am is pretty insightful and I was interested to hear it is Tim. I wouldn’t have been able to guess that either because, as Joe says, Decker really is kind of an extension of Tim.
Gotta hand it to Joe for his integrity. With his insane acting and improv skills he could easily have convinced everyone he HAD seen the movies being reviewed but decides instead to use his powers for good, not evil. Five bags of popcorn.

Kinda a Julian Lennon situation
