Good idea. I made myself a rocket stove with a few bricks and a piece of metal. I have lots of trees, some dead ones for cooking in the future.
In my town, you see perfect lawns and hear constant mowing. I got permision to extablish a wildlife habitat, that looks like a jungle. Lots of fruits and vegetables. I have been covering my fence with raspberry plants with lots of nasty thorns for when people decide my fruits and vegetables are there to feed them all. I'm 77 and have had an emergency plan, longer than most people in the US have been alive. All the friendly people have been dying and the newest generations don't even know how to smile. I bet they'll want to be friends of mine if it happens. Born and raise military brat.

@@donnywilkes6417 And how do you fight a nuclear bomb? Joke aside, I'm 77 born and raised in the US military in a family where every single man has been career military since 1942. Add to that my grandson's mother who is Air Force same as my son. Dad and us were station in Germany when the Berlin wall was being built and as 14 year old girl, I had to attend military brifings for teens, in case war broke out. You can bet that I am as paranoid as it gets. Any thing you can think of, I already did or have. I would need a 16 wheeler to move all my stuff. I would not be running, how about you?
