Thanks for visiting my channel!
Thank you I really needed this because I'm not that good with mine
You’re welcome! 😊
What a great and concise video with tips for this medium! I've always been intimidated by them but this video gives a lot of help. Thank you for making it!
I’m glad it helped! ☺️
Totally pumped to get my watercolor pencils out again!
Thank you ! 😊
This was actually helpful cause I've had water color pencils laying around and I haven't used them cause I didn't know how it works.
thanks for the tips. I'm starting my Artsy gig this 1st week of school. I got Faber-Castel's regular oil pastel and Creative Studio (36 colors). And a set of watercolor pencils. Hope this brand shines 👍✏🎨🖌🖼
never thought it works so easily 👍
Hi Leslie love your cottage. Beautiful picture. Thanks for the tips on watercolour pencils. Aside from painting flowers with them I wouldn't too sure what else I could do so I needed this. Thank you. God bless you. Susan 👍😀❤❤❤
Lovely voice and helpful tips for me as a beginner!
Thank you for a very lovely tutorial.
Thanks!
Dam that freaking beautiful artwork
Rn I’m practicing how to use water color and now I have second option
That’s cool
Thank you.
Hi , The picture so amazing 😻
Thank you this really helped
Greatest tips now my drawing looks like drawn by professional digital artist even though i use watercolor pencils
Not me using watercolour pencils for normal colouring 🤩
Me too💀👍
What water color pencils are you using? They blend so easily
Nice 👍
😊😊😊😊
EXCELLENT! Thank you! Did you draw the picture? I'd love to be able to copy it. I like to think I'm going to be an artist, but I just don't have that . . . . touch. But I'm learning techniques to combine and then I can kind of fake it.
I love watercolor pencils. So flexible.
Yes, I drew and painted this one for Pentel in 2022. You can copy it for practice, but if you post it anywhere please reference me. 😊
Is it worth it? Asking because I mainly like to work with colour pencils (polychromos) I love the precision and detail it gives me but I also like water colour as a medium so would it be worth it? Or it would be a waste of money ?
What ink pens do you use for the line art? I find mines bleed alot ? Amazing video btw
It is normal when determining whether to use micron pens or not when coloring with watercolors
Thank you so much. I needed to know the fundamentals of using water colour pencils. This is so useful, can I use it the shading on any type of paper or just drawing paper?
Any paper but will warp it some people hate that I don't mind it, also if over wet can make holes. I use mine with colorless blender alcohol one or tombow water based one but colours not as bright. If u can print onto mixed media a4 or watercolour paper so it can take it easily google any of this info as someone always make video info about it
Sorry for loooong reply but It useful info 😅
Any watercolour paper is best. 100% cotton is gold standard if you can afford it. 😊
What paper is best for using these types of pencils?
Any watercolour paper works best.
Which is better for painting drawing, soft ones or aquarel?
Experiment to find which you prefer. Like with most things, different people prefer different things. 😊
What kind of pen did you use for the drawing itself?
Prismacolor Premier Fineliners. I like 005 and 01
do you seal your watercolor pencils with lacquer? sometimes I do not wish to actually paint with the watercolor pencils I like the texture of the paper that it creates and I will fix it with other colors but not add water. I really need to seal it though but I do not wish to damage the surface of the drawing/painting
I don’t seal my watercolours, no. They are generally framed behind glass so it’s not necessary.
what brush are you using?
I use a few here, but the main one is the Aquash brush by Pentel
@@LeslieStroz Ah thank you so much!
some watercolor pencils don't recommend wetting the tip of your watercolor pencils
please can you tell what is the brush name
Pentel Aquash brush
Good video I just can't stand when people speak like that for videos 😬
Thank you. I'm gonna use it on our art class!
I painted this same picture!!! mine is a lot less detailed tho haha
I love that two artists can paint the same scene with different interpretations. 😊
