When I cleaning the goo off i scratched the black coating covering the foil on the back cover. Do I need to repair the scratches? Foil is visible. No idea what i would use to cover it
@@selflovedevelopment1417 it's on the inside of the back cover. Didn't know if foil needed to be covered so metal foil would be open to battery & cause a problem
Let's start from the very beginning. Should power be shut off before starting this procedure? I need to remove battery in new phone to get ESN or IMEI numbers to register. Why does heating the phone cover help?

No need to remove scratches unless your wireless charger foil is broken .

Where can I find the replacement back screen?
Nathan Henderson eBay
This has just hit me the port of my LG android is broken. So if I can't charge my android, I might as well get an Android battery from eBay.
