- Sowulo’s new live lineup did a live session in an amazing new studio in Arnhem, NL.
This is the first song of the session.
The live band’s mission was to keep close to Sowulo’s studio sound that Faber developed over the years, but also to make the live sound unique in and of itself by letting every brilliant musician’s talents shine through.
Due to the continuing Covid-19 situation, the live band still hasn't played a live concert. But this band has been in the works for a long time, and we want to show you what we have achieved.

Lo mejor de lo mejor, México los lleva en sus corazones.
Like the lower key change I the arrangement, gives more depth. Still not a fan of the new vocalist ..... for some of it. All her little bits here and there are amazing, but the chorus when she isn't actually harmonising is dull.
What I loved about the band, the masculinity is gone essentially to make rise for a sheep to match everyone else using female vocals.

Sowulo, what have you done?
The the lady singer drowns out EVERYTHING. Where is that beautifull earthly sound you used to have? In my opinion Sowulo has definitely not improved. The mystery is also completely gone.
I'm sorry to disagree with that. At the former video, Micky gave that extra dimension what the song needed. And in my opinion I liked that version a bit more than the original. Yet I enjoyed this live too with both vocals who still holds the same vibe of the song.
A couple of months ago we were introduced to the new Sowulo and we thought the same Joris. But, give it some time It will grow on you.
The sound is nice, yeah, but I think Micky is wasted on this band. She has a vocal range and ability that is far beyond Sowulo.
