Thank you! I highly recommend it. Castle Trail is a great choice if you do go. If I went again I would like to check out the backcountry farther away from the maintained trails as well.
Sure! I brought 3 liters for a single night in the summer. If you are cooking dehydrated food, you will need more than you think. I would bring as much as you can carry, unless you're certain you can filter or purify a water source somewhere along the way.
Great video! I'm thinking about heading out there for a few nights in a month or two. What entrance was this? Do you have any advice for camping in the park? As far as areas/locations? Thanks!
Thanks so much! Please check the description for maps of the trails I hiked. I did a little combination of the two, but I used the same entrance. I backcountry camped in the middle of the two trails, not at a designated campsite. I would highly recommend that! I hope that kind of answers your questions haha. Feel free to ask more 😊
@@NicholasEager Thank you. I've got Deer Haven on my notes currently as a good overnight. Then maybe do one or two more nights around Badlands before heading on to the Black Hills.
@@NicholasEager Man, honestly, amazing video. I've now binged like 12 hours of similar content and re-watching this the quality is really evident. Really like your framing. That lens/camera is also excellent. Look forward to seeing more content.
Thanks for watching :) My pack was 48L. I carried 4L of water for one night / two days because there was no water source. I would recommend bringing more water if you go in summer.
Svolgi un lavoro esemplare, immagini stupende, atmosfere uniche,e gli animali, così fantastici❤
You captured the colors in an amazing way. Even that blacktop shot was impressive.
Thank you!
Good stuff. I did some hiking out that way in 2019, but no overnights. Appreciate you bringing us along.
I’m sure you enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful area. Thank you!
Magnifique!merci.

Wondering if you could suggest how much water to bring for a 3 night trip in the badlands?

Sounds like a great trip! I’ve heard good things about Deer Haven. Honestly camping anywhere in Badlands is beautiful. Enjoy your trip 😄

Wow thank you so much! I used a Fuji XT4 and 35mm lens for this video. It’s easy to focus on framing when you hike by yourself! Stay tuned for more 😊
