Since the IDW comics are confirmed to be part of the game continuity, I'm hoping that eventually there will a moment where the characters (specifically Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles and Eggman) will leave for the Starfall Islands, while the comics focus on the other characters back home and looks into what they were up to during the events of Sonic Frontiers.
@@leonardoalvarenga7572 That time skip is quite short though, and also it definitely doesn't align with the characters' new goals at the end of Frontiers, to speak nothing of Sage not being present.
I loved the issue and always enjoy ones that give open endings to new story lines. I’m sure Eggman will somehow return or whatever, but this will give a good opportunity for some other villains to take spotlight for a bit. I wonder if Surge and Kit will hear about this and presume Eggman is dead and if that will spark anything in them. As for Clutch and the new guy, I’m all for it.

I wasn't entirely sure what would happen in the end, but I wasn't expecting that Echidna statue at the end. If I know my history correctly, isnt that the same design used by the NOCTURNUS CLAN FROM SONIC CHRONICLES?
@@crimsonzone8984 a dbh-like thing where its a crackhead crossover from things across the franchise is really the only way for them to come back well for sally to come back, everyone else can easily be retooled into the canon, especially the post sgw ocs like relic eclipse razor and coral
The writers need to make Belle the New Diamond cutters mechanic, cause that's what I'm doing in my Sonic universe, although Eggman is reformed and chose to remain as mister tinker after he got his memories back their are still other villains out there including ones from other universes who invade the one I created.
I still a little bit miffed that I didn't see Lanolin anywhere during the victory picnic. I'm mean after all,she was the one who kind of spearheaded this whole operation. It's only fitting that she joined her friends in the festivities as well.
Eggperial city was a culmination of Eggman's past schemes from the previous story arcs which in my opinion If he hadn't fired Starline would've set up a scenario very similar to the Sonic Satam cartoon. As for the Picnic our hero's enjoyed I guessing there wasn't enough Chili-dogs to keep Sonic's attention and Lanolin was probably overseeing clean up efforts at the city ruins or something.
What coulda been better for this arc: The shadow androids not just be forgotten about Lanolins team doing more than standing around most of the arc Silver barely doing anything but fight shrimpy badniks and rocks Tangle being written in a more believable way to evade metal Whisper not just crumpling to her trauma for tangle to console her again and get some actual pay back on the androids that left her tramatized A pretty lukewarm arc, but not as egregious as the last one?
