I love the passion you have for collecting Orlando ! It’s very interesting to learn history through cards and your collection. It’s not only about sports, it translates to life itself. The most important thing you said was the quote “ Dividing Man by Race is a Sin Against Humanity “. Very wise words that need to be shared in this crazy world. I’m so glad we have stayed in touch, and thanks for the history lesson. I’m happy you made that monster pick up in a 7 ! Way to go ! Keep your content coming. More people should be watching your channel. If we don’t share our knowledge it may be lost. Keep going and I look forward to seeing you at the National.
Thanks again for your awesome comments. Was great speaking with you and doing the deal.
What a fabulous video, Orlando! Beautiful Marsans cards there! Just fantastic!
Congrats on the wonderful pickup, Orlando! Always fun to see your collection. Take care!
What a beautiful new addition to your Marsons collection. The M101-5 has its original beautiful gloss and I ❤ it. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you for this video, really enjoyed seeing this trailblazer and his amazing cards. So love the way you interweave the history into the story.
Short bit of trivia. In Marsans 1st year playing for the St Louis Terriers in the Federal League his manager was Mordecai Three Finger Brown!
Beautiful cards Orlando! Sounds like Jose Marti was wise beyond his years! Loved hearing about Armando Marsans!
Orlando, beautiful Marson’s run. I have not heard of him nor his story until you brought him up in past videos. Now either the T207 or the CJ card is on my list. Thanks for sharing
Hi Orlando. Awesome cards and the history you tell, through these cards was incredible. Thanks for sharing my friend, can't wait to see you again, only a few weeks away pal. Talk soon my friend.
Orlando thanks for the lesson. Interesting history. Also I dont blame you for moving the modern stuff.
Keeping a few like my Griffey cards, but other modern probably going
Congratulations Orlando on that beautiful Sporting News Marsans! I was also able to pick up a couple of Marsans cards myself from the auction.
Beautiful collection. I'd love to go to Cuba to explore and hunt for old baseball relics. Theres gotta be things over there just waiting to be discovered. Thanks for sharing this Marsans pc
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Most of the Cuban cards have been taken off the island already
I have a 1946-47 Propaganda Montiel of Marsans. I bought it about 10 months ago because his story was so interesting. Great video
Congrats on that Marsans my friend! I was also bidding on several Marsans cards in that Goldin auction but ended up winning a card in the Lelands auction instead. People are starting to become aware of the Cuban players lately and driving up their prices.
Love that Cracker Jack, has an eerie resemblance to Luque’s 1933 Goudey card. Man that Cracker Jack is beautiful, congrats
I would love get Cuban cards. I know they are expensive. Someday. Thanks 😊
Orlando, thanks for sharing! Who actually made the m101-4/m101-5 cards? I am now collecting them... I love the style and the detail image in them.
The M101-5/4 cards were produced by Felix Mendelsohn and sponsored by numberous businesses to help promote their various products.
Great Story Telling and history! I am looking for that T207 Marsans for my collection, so if you are bringing it to the National I would be interested in buying/trading for it.
You need to sell all of these cards and invest in Patrick Mahomes base cards.
What a fabulous new addition to your Marson collection. The M101-5 has its beautiful original gloss and truly belongs in your collection . Thanks for sharing with us Orlando 😊
I totally agree!
