I thought so too. There are rumours as well that BBM is his secret VP. The reason why he turned down BBM might be because it might stain and affect his ratings if BBM is his running-mate, and could possibly end up with other candidates winning. Their meeting may involved making a secret alliance, then it was made public that Duterte rejected BBM's offer as his running-mate to cover up their plans. Anyway, I was hoping that it was BBM and Cayetano fighting for the vice-presidency and doesn't mind if either of the 2 wins but personally wants BBM to win because I just want the Liberal Party and the oligarchs (Lopez, Cojuangco, Aquino) to tremble + he is the most proven and experienced among the VP candidates hence Miriam chose him as his running-mate. That being said, I don't think Miriam, who worked with him and knows him personally, would have him as her running-mate if he is an incapable man with a crooked sense of justice as haters describes him to be. I don't think Miriam would stain her legacy by pairing with such a man that did acts she was against/fighting her whole life.
