I remember in the 90's, I had a Graffiti TV vhs tape with an interview of RIME & NACE - R I P.. They were doing huge burners under a bridge. Dope pieces! That interview always stuck with me. Here we are in 2023 and the guy is still active and thriving with his art. Props for the longevity!
Idk what everyones talking about in the comments. He seemed insightful, explaining what jail was like and how it helped him view him self as an artist in a different aspect. It was a linear rant, talking about from his beginning to how graffiti had effected his philosophies on life and vice versa.
Amazing. Graffiti is "psychedelic" naturally because the hidden realm all around us is living , breathing 3D graffiti ....the fabric of existence is very colorful ,well designed, chaotic ....etc... .thanks to you all and everyone else!
Ive done a few years for graffiti in Arizona over the years. Wack. The punishment is definitely over a hundred times worse than the crime. It's cruel and unusual punishment needs to stop
@@No1hyp0cr1te the guy just rambled and didn't even know the question he was answering . The hosts looked dumbfounded at how much was spewing out his mouth. They seemed not keen to ask another question for fear of his rant of an answer . Don't get me wrong the dudes graff is some of the best ever done in the history of graffiti. But that voice and what was spewing out was too much for me .
Buddy that is so true, on all parts, even with subtitles it feels as if im sniffing poppers as i listen to his incoherent ranting, his soul was snatched a long time ago.
@@randyc7351 to paint long perm? You def need them family with money when you get locked up. Sure you can paint for a few years and come out not homeless and poor but for the most part graffiti is a privileged kid sport
@@randyc7351 i mean how you gonna paint without money? Unless you got rich family to house you near los angeles down the street from all the yards and freeways lmao

Thanks for letting him talk and not interrupting like a lot of interviewers out there. Good vid, seems like a chill dude, nice work.
One of the best videos I've seen in weeks. This is great and it's so fortunate for everyone to be able to hear this perspective

Raze got locked up and literally the day he got let out he was going to have to follow some orders that would have kept him in there for life
What Jersey Joe is saying is 100% the truth!!

Speaking with rime you need to be open minded
MSK is for the open-legged ladies. I mean the community...

To be a graff writer you need family with money lmao
What the hell ?
Lol wtf. Shoutout to all the black, white, latino, asian, etc. kids who grew up in the hood and chose graffiti.
