i remember when tony came to my town dirt track and raced sprint cars, lost, got off the track loaded his trailer and left without talking to anybody. the kid that beat him took a pic and tony had his back turned away from the camera.

@@AlanpittsS2b Same here. Tony has had high success in every auto racing series that he's ever been in. He's also the only race car driver that has won championships in several different auto racing series. Indy Cars and NASCAR are just two of them.

We will have to wait and see how the drivers feel about the next gen car going forward, But it does really look good and sound good we can only hope it performs as good as it looks.

Penske’s experience with some of the next gen drivetrain components could make the first year of this next gen very interesting.

FYI, each NASCAR race car/truck is built according to the track it will be racing on. A road course car is different than a car for the high-speed oval track.

Stewart-Haas needs to put more effort into getting these new cars figured out. More speed, better handling. It sucks what NASCAR did to the Ford teams right before Daytona, but you gotta fight back. Double down and get these cars handling better. Penske might have figured it out. Harvick is only a year and a half out from retirement. You owe it to him to get this car figured out so he can go out like the Legend he is!

The information he gives at these tests, nascar definitely has to hold on to when they do another test when they repave or something, they can look at these notes to see what tire might be a good starting point

They need to get Tony to a 1.5 mile track with this car, THAT is the true test of Next Gen.

With the new car and an even playing field so-to-speak they need to test on familiar tracks .
With that being said considering the SRX racers could Haley Deegan jump in the GEN six car and compete at the top for track times? I think we might have a good answer for that but time will tell , Bring on the LA Coliseum, hell yeah. Great work Tony awesome operation and you’re due for some well deserved trophies, good luck.

They are all the same car. They are built by dallara. The nose will look different which will make a negligible downforce difference.

Dale says the next gen does everything better harvick doesn't care for it. Tony's to busy with drag racing. What liked about Dale Sr he could have a ok car start 25 and come out on top didn't matter knew what that car needed when he came to pit.

They’ve already settled on a dirt test gonna take it to wythe speedway with Stewart Friesen to test it on dirt and to figure out the tire compound needed for that race
Bowman Gray should be a go cart track, it's half the size of Martinsville.
You just need to watch a night of racing there. They average 20 cars on the track per race. The limit is 26, which IMO is too many. It's usually the major races that bring that large of a field. Racing is pretty hairy, until a few drop out or wreck out. You are sorta right, though. I've always liked the mini-stock races the most.

Well, about 10-12+ years ago, I tried to watch NotAnyStockCarsAreRacing(NASCAR) on tv but, the way things and rules got changed or screwed around, I lost interest. Still, no interest! Looks like the same body they just slap a different front end on, different decals and call it a race car. Good luck with this new car. Sounds good about like a four door MUSTANG. Yuck!!!

It's still not a real stock car. Win on Sunday, sell on Monday stock car. Tony is one of the few of today's drivers that would be able race in a real stock car.
For some cars that are far closer to stock, check out GT3 racing. Good stuff.
