I grew up half way between Petrolia and Fairview! My parents still live there! I have thoroughly explored the woods in that area and there is still defininite evidence of the farm that was once there. I think there house, that is just a foundation and a cistern now, was the Carter house?!? Thanks for your videos!

I think I know where your parents live and that's right by the old Roach farm. I am not sure about Carter's but there were so many houses and farms back there. I will do a little bit of research with some old maps I have and see what I can find! Thanks for watching!

This was really cool to watch! Looking forward to more! Was it Mildred that gave you that photo? She was such a nice lady. If my mom couldn’t find me that’s usually where I was lol

Mildred didn't give them to me but was gifted them after she died. Lovely woman. I miss her a lot.

Trying to find out where " Central Point " is exactly located in Petrolia, Pa. and how did the name Central Point came about ? Thanks.. 👍😊

I think that the Catholic church was St. James. I received my First Communion there.

I think you're correct! My family got kicked out because my great grandfather, as a baby, wouldn't stop crying during his christening. They ended up going to a church in East Brady I believe.
