Room is actually my fave song lolz. I find it to be a stunning song with so many amazing melody inversions and the message of the song makes me a little teary-eyed-- the concept is about leaving abuse behind. Not coming back to the "room" is whatever person, thing, or place in your life that has been a source of damage. For jihyo it was a literal room (the one she trained in for 10 years before FINALLY getting to debut with twice) and the emotional "room" of not feeling good enough.
This is one of my fave mini-albums of all time!! It's soooo damn good! And I love that it is actual artistry and not just trendy pop. Room, don't wanna go back, wishing on you--- these are beautiful song!!
You should REALLY listen to Nayeons new record-breaking mini album "NA" with lead single ABCD or/and TWICE's last mini-album (which is the ONLY kpop Girlgroup to be in the top 10 albums of Billboard 200 albums of 2024) and/or TWICE's just released summer Japanese album DIVE (the mv and song are GORGEOUS!!)
cohesive is the right word for this album!!! also nayeon's new album is PRETTY COHESIVE! I love that jihyo didn't wanted her album to sound as a kpop idol album, she really went into this r&b and chill sound and I LOVE IT!!!!

Closer is a great song, but Room is that one in a million song. I love the vibe.
