We need the Childrens Film Foundation or something similar for the new breed of young actors to learn the art of acting and film making. Can't see all these TV talent shows and reality shows helping very much. There is so much young talent out there!!!
A very young Terry McCann, Minder, in a story of competing gangs and a go kart trophy. The opposing gang is led by a former Doctor Who assistant. These CFF films are surprisingly enjoyable and seen a number of future famous faces in them including living legend Brian Blessed in his pre beard days.
The steering for the first trolley was a death trap,I designed a steering design that was safe and full control,it’s my trade secret ,we had trolley races every day,but once a year we had a death race for the best and king of the road title,I held the title for 7yrs then I retired, the race ended after I retired,I was 17 then passed me test, the look on people’s faces when I turned up in an allegro, good film for a giggle,
Fraser Heinz the hard man, old Tel must have been playing a younger kid in just william as it was made in 1963 as well, and he looks about 16 here, which would have been his actual age
What a cracking movie. Fraser Hines is great in this. And who'd thought Christopher Witty would go on to be chief medical officer!!
Different Chris Witty

Denis Waterman and a very young Fraser Hines.
How I wish I could have been born in 1963 instead of 1969 and also 1963 was the year the classic Doctor Who era began on television in black and white

I am rather surprised that the actor Dennis Waterman did not both write and sing the theme tune to this "Go Kart Go" television drama.
Yawn.
Write da feem toon, sing da feem toon... And it wasn't a television drama. They showed this in theaters.
i laughed and i loved Dennis ( no sense of humor some people ;)
It worked in minder, which only fools and horses stole many of its ideas from
Photographer- John Coquillon went on to make a string of films with Sam Peckinpah. I guess we all have to start somewhere...
Well said ... and some even make it to working for Arthur .. evolving from cart into Capri . 😯

Fraser Hines and Denis Waterman actually went to the same theatre school together in real life.
