chishiya's relationship with niragi in the manga is really cool!!! I'll write some spoilers rn from the end of the manga so don't read if u haven't read it all yet! especially in the original world when they woke up next to each other in the hospital, they had a really nice interaction, I think those two are just total opposites sides of the same person: just like Chishiya said in the manga. He didn't like niragi cause he looked like a mirrored-self to him. Anyways niragi deserved a lot better, they made him really look like an idiot tbh, sometimes in the manga we got to see his actual pov and thoughts and he wasn't stupid at all, he was toxic ofc, but he was smart, he's specialty was diamonds just like Chishiya

I just watched this series and He definitely needed more screentime. They also forgot his backstory did one for a pointless and crappy character....also they forgot to add blood to his coat in episode 2 just stands in the doorway as her head explodes definitely would have had more blood on him but hey all good.
Yeah I was upset they didn’t delve into his character a bit more. He seems to just fit the ‘mysterious and extremely clever’ stereotype instead of having all the layers he had in the manga. Like the rooftop scene between him and Niragi was so different than in the manga - it took away something that made him seem more human

Which is proven at the last episode of season one, "let's play together, we will play for the face cards" Him: "I don't hate the idea of that" I have theories that he's in on it, he threw the cards at the (forgot his name) and set him on fire and didn't even pick the cards up, I believe he could have stolen them, and lost them so that everyone will have to start over, and so that the people will only have card 10 of hearts, not the others. He wants the games to keep going. He tricked the girl with the dreadlocks to help him steal the cards saying they could go home after they steal it, then threw them. He could have saved those people in the second episode, he had already figured out where the door with the symbol is, then said "that's a good idea, but no one wants to help", trying to get in everyone's heads that they couldn't do it. He let all those people die, and just watched while enjoying it like it was a tv show, just like those people in the room underground where the railroad is. I think that that's how he knew where it was, and pretended like he had "found" it too.
tbh when i watch this, i was like damn even tho his highlight dosen't feels like kenma but he act like kenma...like the way he thinks before he acts...everyone is panicking and he thinks before he acts...i havent finish the series yet, i am only at episode 4 at the moment
