महेश्वरी जी, मुझे बहुत खेद पूर्वक कहना पड़ रहा है कि आपने सापेक्षता और सहअस्तित्व के सम्बंध में (5:41)जो उदाहरण दिया है वे अतार्किक व दोषपूर्ण हैं। आपने सहअस्तित्व को समझाने के कुछ विश्लेषणात्मक् प्रश्न किये जैसे, ' आँखों की वजह से विश्व का अस्तित्व है या विश्व की अस्तित्व की वजह से आँखों का', ' कान है इसलिए आवाज का अस्तित्व है या आवाज जी इसलिए कान का अस्तित्व है', इसीप्रकार, ' आँखों की वजह से प्रकाश का अस्तित्व है या प्रकाश के वजह से आँखों का'। मित्र ! आपने इनको सहअस्तित्व के कोटि में रखकर जो समझने की चेष्टा की उसमें दोष है, कारण कि, आँखों और वाह्य जगत, आँखों और प्रकाश, तथा कान और आवाज में आप सहअस्तित्व की बात करते करते कार्यकारण सम्बन्ध की बात करने लगे , जैसे- ' प्रकाश की वजह से आँखों का अस्तित्व है या आंखों की वजह से प्रकाश का'। इसप्रकार का प्रश्न कार्यकारण को स्पष्ट करने के लिए किया जाता है, सहअस्तित्व को नहीं। रही बात प्रकाश और आंखों के सह अस्तित्व की तो ऐसा नहीं है। न आँखों का अस्तित्व प्रकाश पर निर्भर है और ना ही प्रकाश का अस्तित्व आंखों पर। 'अस्तित्व' बहुत बड़ा शब्द है इसे सम्भल कर इस्तेमाल कीजिये। आँख का काम है देखना, और एक समर्थ आँख देखने का कार्य तब भी करेगा जब प्रकाश ना हो। आँख का कार्य रंगों का संवेदन लेना है, प्रकाश में अनेकों आकार प्रकार और रंगों का संवेदन मिलता है, और अंधेरे में सिर्फ काले रंग का संवेदन मिलता है,, इसप्रकार अंधेरा हो या प्रकाश एक समर्थ आँख वो करेगा जो उसका कार्य है,, अतः उसका अस्तित्व प्रकाश और बिल्कुल निर्भर नहीं करता। अब रही बात प्रकाश की तो प्रकाश किसी के आँखों के होने पर निर्भर कैसे कर सकता है, उसका कार्य प्रकाशित करना है, और वो यही भी करेगा चाहे कोई आँख उसे देखे या ना देखे। अब रही बात व्यक्ति के वाह्य दृष्टि की तो उसको वाह्य विश्व को देखने के लिए समर्थ आँख और प्रकाश दोनों की आवश्यकता पड़ेगी, यही वह स्थान है जहाँ इन दोनों के सह अस्तित्व की आवश्यकता है, किन्तु इसका ये अर्थ नहीं कि ये दोनों एक दूसरे के कारक हो सकते हैं। ये दोनों भिन्न हैं दोनों का भिन्न कारक हैं, हाँ दृष्टि के लिए समर्थ आँख और प्रकाश दोनों कारक हैं। जैसे यदि मैं एक वृक्ष देख रहा हूँ तो मुझे समर्थ आँख और प्रकाश दोनों की आवश्यकता होगी, किन्तु इसका यह अर्थ नहीं कि वृक्ष का अस्तित्व मेरे आंखों के कारण है, या प्रकाश के कारण है, या इन दोनों के कारण है,,। आपको समझना होगा कि यहाँ दृष्टि अस्तित्व और वस्तु अस्तित्व ये दोनों भिन्न हैं। आपने अपने प्रश्नों में ये अंतर नहीं किया इसलिए वे दोषपूर्ण हैं। अतः आपसे अनुरोध है कि ऐसा कुछ उदाहरण ना दें जो दोषपूर्ण हों। धन्यवाद।
