Gretel MK2 and R-109 are the two most badass characters in the whole series. They not only outlived their predecessors but also survived the Machine Wars, The Timesplitter uprising and the Robot Factory. BTW still to this day I'm salty over Corporal Hart dying. She should've survived.
+FLAMINGBABYPUNCH Technically she does survive, since you prevent the Timesplitters for ever existing at the end of Future Perfect, Corporal Hart is never killed by them.
aghhhh yeahhh corporal Harts death hit me well and truly hard just cant get over it i was always bloody hopin that somehow in FP she managed to come back wishful thinking but i always hoped anyway
DuskyHaddock I don’t know how they thought there’d be that much advancement in technology in only 20 years... probably not even in 100 years will we see any of that. Not with the recessions that hit every 5-10 years

If another Timesplitters ever happens. I want the climax to have Cortez going back and recruiting all the Heroes he helped, to take part in a epic battle for the fate of Time itself.
Yeah, that's been there and can't happen again unfortunately... very unfortunately as I'd like to see another Timesplitters game ^^ However, time is a pretty big concept to play with, so you never know what the future holds.
Isn't this just Future Perfect? They'd be retreading what was already done, but they'll probably be more successful remastering/bringing forward the older TimeSplitters games. Not sure where a TS4 could go honestly.
Has this happened to anyone else? Ever walked outta a store and a piece of paper skids a cross the pavement and you pick it up and it's just a coupon list and just outta random "oh dead or alive"
I still get chills when the robot says "Yeess, Maaster." it tells us that the Machinist Child is clearly the one in charge and that he's building an army. Then when that alarm goes off and he says "What!?" it's really really cool and gets me pumped to play the level.
Coming back here, I only JUST realised the triple entendre on "a screw loose." More than just the wordplay, it's the _actual_ loose screw there he _literally_ wasn't told about by his staff.
God, this game gives me many memories of playing this as a 7 year old kid. Then going to play Future Perfect as a 8 year old, even though my mom said I couldn't (rated M) but my uncle got it so I played it there without her knowing, but I never once got scared from Notre Dame or Mansion of Madness. In fact, those levels are one of my favorites in the series. But playing this game as a kid, is the reason why I'm interested in Sci-Fi, futuristic stuff, Western, time travel, 1930s America, Ancient ruins/Aztec, zombies, Notre Dame and Tokyo.
Night Roug3 yeah I believe this game and future perfect (and other games/movies that feature well-done time travel) give a kid a good grasp of the settings of different periods of history
The scariest part about the intro cutscene to Siberia is that the zombie they chose to be the one that kills them is the one that looks exactly like Nikolai. It's as if he's seeing his future, and it's come for him.

I never see much appreciation for the craftsmanship of these cutscenes, which always saddens me a bit. Those are incredibly well-animated, insanely good takes on various genres and cinematographies, and expressive as hell using a tiny fraction of the tris in today's facial animation. Wild West especially stands out to me.
I loved a specific line in the second level of this game, it's when you use the telephone twice in a row I think and the guy on the phone says "You've got the wrong number dear." in the most hilariously bad voice ever. This games whole writing was kind of good, but the mafia level was the best.
Picture this... 7 year old me getting through the missions, being as unstealthy as ever, feeling like a champ, gets to neotokyo, sees ghost get kicked to the floor, assumes he's an irrelevant enemy, start to walk with the girl thinking she was a friend, next thing she points her gun at me, I shoot back, she dead, I failed the mission, police come after me, I'm dead, doesn't play for 6 months.
i guess it changed because the portal is more powerful in FP he got into a portal powered by alien technology but not the crystals. He kinda controlled them and got the crystals back. After completing the mission he comes back to earth where they got their own portal powered by those recovered crystals. With more power they finally got the power to end the war by finding those crystals back in time this may be the reason why travelled by himself instead as he did in ts2
