Annie Lennox was lead in a band called the Eurythmycs in the 1970s. Their music is beautiful and her voice is stunning. I hope you get to listen to some more of their music.

I think my favorite song by her is the one she sang over the credits at the end of The Return of the King. It was titled Into the West.
The voice of The Eurythmics, but her solo stuff is great. Cold is another classic from this album. Then for more upbeat you can try Walking On Broken Glass and Little Bird.
