      Joe Rogan, trying his best to get addicts back in it just because Joe is a habitual drug user trying to justify what he's doing.
      Joe, own your drug use, own the responsibility and please stop telling people, especially addicts, to do hard drugs.

    Joe needs to chill on this. If Russell doesn’t want to do drugs, then drop it. It could very well lead to his demise and we need Russell more than ever right now. You don’t pressure a former addict to use. Ever.

    • @fuzinonzlot
      @fuzinonzlot ปีที่แล้ว +6

      To his "demise"? We're talking about psychedelics not crack or alcohol or fentanyl, or the drug he was addicted to - heroin. If anything psychedelics will give him a deeper understanding of things like it did for Carl Jung, Terrence McKenna, Allan Watts, and many others.

      not all drugs are the same. Russell a grown man. He's cautious due to trauma and past experience. But Joe's just expressing his experience of doing drugs and not going off the deep end and making it known its possible. I don't see no pressure here.

    Personally I have not been much into drug experiments since high school last time I dropped acid I was about 18 and had a huge fight with my then boyfriend a week before prom decided never again. Drugs tend to amplify things and things are not always good so Russel might not enjoy that intensity. I really think that sort of thing is more for young people personally expand your mind as a young adult and there now it's open you don't need to keep doing it imo. I've never been addicted to anything harder than nicotine though so if Russel went through hell kicking another habit his personal experience should be respected. He can expand his consciousness with yoga and meditation and music etc. won't have the nasty come down either or risk a bad trip.

  • @klefthoofrobert787

    I mean, depends on the person really.
    I've tried most drugs and loved them, but nothing ever stuck to me, except weed, which my biggest cross to bear :P
    However i'm not everyone, and the fact that i god damn loved shrooms and acid (but never felt the need to repeat the activity unless the moment is perfect) doesn't mean it won't get russel hooked, or open the gateways again for him towards other stuff.

    I think addiction is all about the residue left in your body after taking the substance. In my personal experience alcohol changes the chemicals in your brain to a point where it takes a while for your brain chemistry to get back to normal. But speed straight off the cooks plate doesnt seem to. Blue meanies dont seem to. So in my experience if the substance is in its purest form it seems to be more beneficial than the substance being jumped on mulyiple times by god knows what

    I believe psychedelics have a time and place for some people but definitely not for all. I too am refraining from drugs in general as a 35 year daily pot smoker. Quitting was very hard and actually pissed me off to realize I wasn’t in control of my life but I turned that aspect of my life to a plant. If your life is hard and your thinking about death or hurting someone then I say yes maybe try acid or mushrooms to put you on a different path but only if you cant turn to God for whatever reasons. God is the real truth trip in my opinion.
