@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring No doubt. Same happen to me but I slowly got back on that horse and I am almost done with the Hero Quest core set now. Only About 8 more left to go in the set...but of course now I have to paint the expansion sets 😝

@@1000jjwalker I do lots of painting guides on the channel. They are just ramping back up following a gap due to eyesight problems.
This set is really good, i got mine recently and I can't wait to paint it too.
Also, I really like this colour scheme and how the colours blend so nicely together, another great paint job.

Nice work as always. About to set up to paint some more 3D printed minis. Got about five Pterosaurs from Lord of the Print. Also got a Protoceratops. Some time in the future after that I got 18 Dragon Lord miniatures to go with the board game that goes with it.
Making your own little Preternia. The Dragon Lord miniatures are such fun little designs. They must be enjoyable to paint.

Great work! I always thought Orko was the JarJar Binks of the MOU family of heroes.
Heck no. He's a legend. Lots of people think of him in the same way as Uni from Dungeons and Dragons or Snarf from Thundercats, but I think he's much better than that.

Sadly my coverage, and enjoyment, of this game has had to be cancelled. The store I used to order the core set and first 2 expansions, still didn't have stock after 6 months. As of yesterday they informed me that my order along with 5000 other orders are not being shipped from the main supplier and as such they are seeking a new supplier. I have now received a full refund and will be putting the money towards other projects for 2023, as I don't really have room in my schedule for a new game atm and I've just taken a dive into Model Railways again with Hornby's TT:120 range.
Great video and I'll get great enjoyment from seeing you paint and play with them on here.

Good old orko. I heard the "o" on his top was reportedly so he would be easier to animate - images could be mirrored or reversed etc.
That doesn't surprise me. Filmation had to make so many episodes, they were always reusing segments so it makes sense to do anything possible to make recycling elements easier. They did an incredible job of keeping the quality where it was, really.
You're correct. His name was originally going to be Gorpo. Thank goodness it was switched

I have a question regarding Orko's powers. Traveller from Trolla means he has to roll twice? One for the Mind Test and if that succeeds he can the Attack Test?
Yes, basically there's an increased chance of his spell doing nothing. So, first you test against mind to see if you cast the spell, and if that's successful, then you do the magic attack to see how many successes you get for the spell you are using.

That's an idea for a conversion - Orko hanging out the edge of Panthor's mouth! I could never do that to him though.
The wand was from the 200x reboot…
And it was a metallic gold….

The wand was an homage to the ripcord. If you look at the 200x toy, the wand has little zipper edge to it
