OH YA old school Yota I’m from a Jeep family from back in the early 70’s 55 Willy’s with a Chevy 283 conversion and 76 CJ7 with factory 304, but the Toyota’s were the next group of tough rigs if you followed the four wheel drive magazines from back in the day you knew the what’s what in 4X4. Toyota just did great stuff I liked those RV’s and to see a set up like this is just way cool this guy is on it his thought process is spot on.
I've seen one of these with a v8 in it. It passed me on a up hill grade like I was standing still. 😂

the appeal for that is the minimalist build but with an accurate camper shell design. I'd rather american power for such a rig, but in similar sizing. I see these a dime a dozen broken in every way, especially frame/drivetrain.. but that shell is still hanging on to its outer dimensions. I am still inspired to build my own truck camper.. this toyota shows they can work if you stay real to the shell.
