Literally they are meant to be Landon holds Hope back due to him having no sense of being able to fight for himself. Meanwhile Josie can defend herself if she has to. Along with like I get both Landon and Hope lost people they love but like so did Josie and Josie doesn’t need to work as hard as Landon does to get Hope to open up to her. That along with Hope and Josie are both selfless so both girls will finally get someone to put them first. Like Julie please just make it happen already Hosie needs to happen in season 3. MSQRD Massacre Because Josie couldn’t even handle her jealousy and possessiveness of Landon. She made a girls nose bleed just for flirting with him, Penelope’s hair on fire for laughing with her friends, amongst other things. She’s done a lot of things that are just glossed over because they tell us how “good” she is but she isn’t. They demonstrate one thing, but say another. She makes excuses and never learns or grows like Lizzie does. Josie has alot of issues and blames Lizzie instead of herself, and how will she even cope when Hopes in danger or someone else likes her. If they worked on their problems together, they could definitely be endgame. I definitely think it should be Josie especially if it isn’t Rafael/Landon/Lizzie, they do have chemistry just right now they would be bad together. It’s a timing thing. I do like them all more as sisters though. Definitely see potential to be more with both of them! Please don’t send hate I do like Hosie too its just my opinion! :)

While setting P's hair on fire was a messed up thing to do, Josie didn't do it because she was jealous, she did it because she was angry at P. I'm not trying to say that that's justified, I'm just explaining her reasons. And the show does try to tell us Josie is good but shows us another thing.
I believe Josie is good but she’s also human there is only so much a person can take being used and stepped on like she has before cracking. Definitely agree with some points you made and am in no way trying to show hate or anything but I think the writers are just showing this side of Josie to show the humanity she has and how she has reached her max and is just breaking from having everything built up. Because with her being selfless she probably keeps her emotions to herself which adds even more to her breaking which is in my opinion what the writers are portraying in the show right now.
