Excellent review. These are terrific headphones for anyone looking for a good pair of wireless headphones that won't break the bank. They have been tuned for a fun, consumer oriented sound rather than critical listening but given the most likely use case that seems very sensible. They're pretty robust and can take a few knocks. I paid £98 on Amazon and at that price they're brilliant value. However they are really on-ear headphones, not over ear.
Well it also depends on the size of your ears. I’ve had these for a couple of years now and indeed sound amazing and, at least for me, quite comfortable to wear
I've had my pair for about a month and a half now and the first week was dreadful. These clamped so hard on my head it was unbearable after 15 minutes. But, after letting them sit stretched out for a few hours a day, they improved drastically. Ever since then I can wear them for hours without fatigue and the sound is awesome. If anyone wants these, remember to give them time to set, the metal is really tight from the box, but mould to your head. For some reason tho, my control button has reversed itself, so when skipping songs it's back for next and forward for previous. A bit annoying, but I got used to it :D
I could not agree more. This is not the most comfortable headphone in the market but the GREAT sound it produces more than makes up for it. Definitely this is the best sounding headphone i ever had (sony, jabra, audio technica, akg)
I used them for one day now, connected to my IPhone via Bluetooth and it makes a strange Background noise at low volume. This does just happens in Bluetooth mode. Elsewise they are Great!
I want to buy these so bad but I saw that they only support SBC codec and not aptX LL, aptX HD, AAC, or LDAC. I'm afraid the sound quality will be bad and muddy or not as good as those codecs.
From someone who's owned their's for over five years, the build quality on these is lacking compared to what you might hope for. The plether (and it's all plether, trust me) will peel off, the ear cushions coating will peel off, the wires will crack like a 2 year old iPhone cable... but they'll still sound good!
Great review! Finally someone mentions that they are more or less on ear than the marketed "over the ear". I had a pair of Marshall Monitor wired and I loved the way they sounded but the comfort was abysmal to me. I liked the luxurious design, astonishing build quality, the option to attach and detach the wire (coiled cable with a mic) but the comfort killed it for me. They look sleek and very stealthy but I couldn't bear the headaches and ear pains they brought me. If it only fits a kinder surprise pod (not the egg, the pod where toys are) it's not an over the ear, no one's ears are that small lmao. I wish they made a Marshall Monitor XL version. Brainwavz HM5 pads go well with the Monitor btw, you're just going to lose a bit bass tightness. They're not a perfect fit but they don't leak sound and they don't flop.
I got them , and they are very good for wireless headphones . I did have Grado SR225i before ( different sound) and now Meze 99Neo , so i am used to good sounding headphones and it is sounding very good . They do feel premium and are very compact folded or on the head . For me they are very comfy , but i can imagine having big ears being uncomfy .
Hey thanks for the video. Can you make a video of headphones that break easily at the bendable part? I see a lot of videos about the sound. I have a big head and end up breaking any headphone over time. Are these headphones durable?
Relationship status: it's complicated. May have try these out. You sort of had me worried when I saw you were selling s camera I was like nooo don't stop the goodness! Hope all is well.
Since you recently have been reviewing BT headphones, why not try looking back to a no frills simple pair of headphones with a cable. You should check out the Sony MDR 1AM2, it's 300 bucks, has a wide soundstage for a closed back design, heavenly soft earcups, drivers that can go from 3hz-100000hz, it weighs practically nothing at 187g, good build quality, and a sound signature i think you might like
Did you know that you can loosen that clamping? People should really check out how to use your product e.g. from particular brands web site. In this case Marshall have a youtube video which shows how you can loose them up. Worked for me. Just saying! ;)
My problem is that the pairing really sucks. Sometimes it works great for days but then it fucks up every time I use it. Even get bluescreen about 5% of the times I try to pair it.
So you have Status CB-1s on your wall, but I don't see a review of them. I'd love to know what your opinion of them is and also when you got them. They revised the design a little bit and I bought a second pair a couple months ago.
Will be doing a review soon. Got them about 3 months ago. I think they're great and for the price there are not many that's better as far as clarity and soundstage goes
Another great honest review. 👌 Can't help but notice there is quite a bit of background noise. Not sure if it's the sound of rain or like a PC fan. Little heads up.
this is the first video with me having my shotgun mic facing directly at me so it might be picking up the PC behind me. I guess I will have to go back to having it on a boom pole above my head. thanks for the heads up
Love the Marshall Monitor II ANC. It's the best i ever owned. Had Sony JBL and Bose but this one is the best for its money... BUT!!! Only 1 Negative thing it really is heavy on your head. You can really notice that. Thats the only downside. But overall its a beast❤️
I like Marshall Headphones/Speakers But little Scary the expose wire cables in the headphones..Great Features/Specs..I cannot Decide if I get Marshall/Bose/Sony Headphones..
I have these. I left them in the bag for a few months and when I went to use them again they won't even turn on. They only work while plugged in. Super heavy. Crush your ears. Avoid avoid avoid.
@Gamesky can you help me? Im trying to find a good headset around 150 dolars that works great With ps4 and xbox one. I dont play on PC so i need a good console headset. Im using the Silver headset and after your review i realize that its not good at any means. I was trying to find a 7.1 for ps4 that works stereo on Xbox but after watching tour vídeos i dont know if 7.1 makes that diference. Any sugestion? Thanks. Your vídeos are amazing.
I noticed that the link to the product shows that the headphones are fake and not genuine, on the comment section. Seems there are replicas all over the market.
Always excited for some new videos from gamesky🔥🔥
Thanks man, means alot

I need to try these Marshalls out! Great video brother!
Definitely surprised me.....I have to try the Samsung Buds you did a video on too

Your backdrop is killer. Love the blue and look.
A year ago $130?....you had the fake ones. They're £250 in the UK right now .... Plus the box is fake also
Probably mistook majors for monitors?
Bruh wtf u have huge ears
There’s a reason why he’s a audiophile
My ears are pretty small and i had a chance to try them at a store and.. it's perfect, but i did not have them on for a long time, tho.
I used them for one day now, connected to my IPhone via Bluetooth and it makes a strange Background noise at low volume. This does just happens in Bluetooth mode. Elsewise they are Great!
I know i won't use an uncomfortable headphone, doesn't matter how good they sound, i really hate on ear headphones
but that's an over the ear model
Had marshall mid bluetooth headphones, loved the sound, hated the comfort, ears would always start to hurt after a short while
I've had mine for 2 years now and the battery is shot now and also the knob is acting up quite a bit. Not too happy about this
I have these and the comfort improved drastically with time. I love them. The sound quality is beautiful.

Just got my pair today and it’s pretty good. Great review as always. Skullcandy fan here. 😁

Major 3 100 dollars monitor 117 dollars which one should i choose
They also have a very common glitch where they start popping in your ear and then they just completely break their anc in at least one ear :/

I bought these for my sons 12th birthday hope he likes them
Have you tried the Marshall Mid Bluetooth?
How would you compare these against ATH-M50X/BT?
Hey. Have you done a comparison between these two? I have ath50xbt and the sound is amazing. The problem with them is comfort.
The MID's are the smaller version of that.

Would like to see Orange making headphones.
They made already but its rare

Hi, do you have a removable treble filter in your marshall headphones?
Because mine doesnt have and it's original
That is only in the first Monitor version, not the bluetooth one.
Can we use these for PC gaming ..?
