Great video to get a feel for the game. Just a few rule clarifications though: The staff is only used when you rest and you don't physically move the magic token. When you rest, you spend power to act like the magic token was moved up the number of spaces equal to the power spent. Moving the magic token would benefit other players. When completing a temple during the day, the meeple moves back to your castle. You can move your meeple to another players castle during the day to gain a heart or power. When you kill a goblin, you remove the token immediately and gain the max health. If you are exhausted during the same night phase, you still keep the killed goblin.
Anthony and Francis, you are quite simply the best boardgame reviewers on the planet. I don't buy a game unless it passes your approval. I would love (and I'm sure your fans) a top five video of yours and francis` individual favorite ever board games. Keep up the great work. Any chance you will be doing/playing Civilisation a new story, looks good but obviously waiting for your review.
Hey! Great stuff! I have one tiny question :) at 52:45..why don't you get to gain the effects on the castle card? I thought just by Placing your Hero on a Castle you immediately gain 1 life OR 1 power?
one more clarification. the rule book does not say it but i found it in FAQ confirmed by the publisher 1. If you land on a Map Card with an aggressive Goblin, but choose the other Region (non-Portal side), do you spend Power? No, you only spend Power when passing through the Map Card. The Goblin stays aggressive since the Portal was not used.
Thanks for the playthrough. I found this fun to play. Not tried the Gloom variant yet. You guys kept forgetting sometimes to up your Max Power after learning spells. :)
oooo new logo/graphics. :) (Did not notice them in the Bob Art of Chill game video) Funnily enough I was wondering if they'd get a bit of a face lift. I remember watching when it was just Anthony playing games solo. :D Would still love to see a solo playthrough of Anachrony. Frances and Anthony can Rock/Paper/Scissors who gets to do it. :D
Great job (as usual)! Anthony do you have any input on this as a solo experience? Have you played or have an idea of how it would play? Thinking of picking this up but only for solo. Thanks and keep up the great videos - noticed the production keeps getting better all the time :)
Wow this game was a lot more AP prone that I realised it was going to be. I bought it last week, but haven't had a chance to play it. Also.. I need that playmat.

Great New intro! Also got this through Kickstarter but hasn't gotten to the table yet...

Very cool, awesome play.

Jeff Goggin I think it plays ok solo. It's hard though.
The only playthrough of this game with the gloom side, thanks guys, Ant lab rules ! ❤😊
love the game mat with this game.
#1 The new look is awesome!
#2 Anthony, you are one lucky dude!
44:25 i'm pretty sure you CAN move a hero away from a goblin space.
OH, you can keep rolling as many times as you want. Interesting!

Nice playthrough!
Where can I get that game mat?
Like the new graphics!
Is it allowed to move multiple meeples with one move action? my rules say something else.
Ok that was a special action at the start.
Oh nice shard plate reference :)
Im currently playing a game tiny epic quest hehe :D
