It was white who was fighting with yellow early on. He came through Italy. Black was just chilling the entire early game

I actually think this was a significant misplay early. Kyle had a 16 pointed at Reds 3 cap but he was so worried about yellow that he handicapped himself and had to play the long strat for another 40 minutes. Yellow just watched Black take the bonus bellow him! He wasn't focused on Kyle at all. Kyle could have just stacked everything on Reds cap after the take and he would have quit with only 3 troops next turn. Game over. 20 min banger.
The 17 pointed at the 3 cap had to go through two red 2s. Assuming he loses 1-2 troops per roll and abandons the original cap, he gets to the red cap with 12-13 troops and probably loses more on the cap roll. If he splits the caps he could lose both, if he only guards the front one red just takes his back cap and he spent his whole income to trade places with no bonus.

Why you think this is a more entertaining way to play. This game was so irritating. Not fun. Annoying. I literally cant stand players who play like this. What a dumb game.

I think Kyle read the fog pretty well and took the necessary risks to put himself in an advantageous position.
Did you just want him to ramdingle red right away and throw the game from the jump?
