- David Guzik continues in his study of the book of Hebrews. In chapter 5 we see how Jesus wants to lead us forward, growing us into more than we are right now.

Excellent Teacher
Amen 🙏🏽
Great examples of missing the mark in our Christian walk. Thank you!
You are welcome!
Thanks!
You are very welcome, thank you very much for your generous support! Blessings in Jesus' name.
Hey David. I love your sermons, they are very fruitful. I have a question.
You said that none of the 6 things listed in Hebrews 6:1-3 directly were talking about Christ, but in 6:1 in the King James Version, it says “leaving the principals of the doctrine of Christ”
Since it said “the principles of the doctrine of Christ,” don’t you think that those were all talking directly about christianity?
Perhaps these notes will bring some additional understanding.
I hope it helps.
Blessings!

@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord do you think that the basics in this list were something that Jewish non Christians talked about, or do you think that they were only basics that were talked Christian faith. Because it says “let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ” it doesn’t say “the elementary doctrine of Christ and Judaism.”
That is my question
@@charlielantz8450 Good insights there.
I believe that the author was speaking of the elementary principles of the Christian faith, and not of Judaism in any sense. Thanks for asking such an insightful question. Blessings!
@@DavidGuzikEnduringWord your welcome man. Thank you for leading such a good example of faith.
Very hard to be a christian in this culture. In many cases Christianity is being embedded and conformed to culture for fear of being offensive to them.
