Crazy how colourful animals can be, especially when your mind thinks it should be an easy choice of browns and greys. This is a big lesson for me in colouring what I *see*, not what I *think* I see.
I watch your vids when you upload, the drawings you do are quite pretty and I hope to draw like you but on a bigger scale and more of a whole portrait of the animal. I bought some animal encyclopedia books from amazon to have tones of references and there's many books with good images at very decent size of all kinds of animals. I don't think people are aware that so many books with decent refs exists , I'm just saying in case you might find it useful. Thank you for upload 👍
Thank you. Yes I have plans to do some larger full body pieces too but it has been hard to fit those in between work and a youtube schedule.
Great idea about the books for references. I'm just beginning this journey myself with coloured pencils. I tried to trace a smaller reference off my phone, but who knew a touch screen would still pick up my fingertip over tracing paper! I do hope to get better at drawing but sometimes you just want that image down on paper so you can play with the coloured pencils!
Hi, thanks toi so much for thé vidéos 🙏😇 please what's the size of the papier ?
Such a complex subject. Mapping the fur must have taken hours alone! Looking great. ✏️✏️✏️
Yes it was very easy to lose track of where I was, even adding colour I get confused as to whether I'm on top of the fur or under it 🤣 thank you
