Although a banlist was announced DURING the regional last weekend, I still wanted to share my decklist that went X-2-1 at the PHNI Montreal Regional to secure a Top 24 position.

if it ever get's an errata, just forcing a rokket non tuner or even tuner will do wonders for it. same for the level 10 monster if it get errated just having a specific monster name for either tuner or non tuner will do wonders!!
Congrats on the invite and nice deck profile! I liked how u talked about the options for Savage and Baronne post banlist too.
I've been playing the Horus version for a while now where u don't run the Rokkets so Savage wasn't needed for it. I've started running Chengying as a level 10 synchro to replace Baronne so that's an option for D-Link as well 🙂
For level 8 dark synchros if u got room can run the RDA Scarred Crimson Gaia package which can allow for easy OTK's since u can get one of them back if u control Crimson Gaia. Just my 2 cents, keep up the great work!
Another snychro 10 worht mentioning is Swordsoul Chengying, i know he's a water wyrm but his on banish effect pairs really good with basically the intire deck.
What do you think about Evilswarm Nightmare as an endboard option?
That could be an option! I have considered it in the past, but the dark rank 4 XYZ pool might have some good options
Thoughts on adopting the new rank 10 omni negate Varudras when LEDE comes out? I think running the second REDMD would be necessary so you can hard draw it more often and you’d need to able to make Dis Pater/Chaos Angel next to it as well but it’s possible to make the rank 10. I haven’t looked yet but if there’s any other level 10 dragons that are also good not mentioned already that would be something to test.
It sounds interesting but I think the resource commitment for getting 2 level 10s on the field in this deck is too much. The only way I could see it is if you special summon redmd from banish with dis pater, which requires a lot of setup
