Erica G that was at the Jacksonville show. In a way it was so beautiful to experience them singing this so powerfully as a counter protest.
If you watch Episode 11 of the PTX Experience clips, at the very end they're walking out onto the stage in Jacksonville, determined to put on a great show despite the fact that they knew the protestors were there. I was so proud of them.
GeriatricPTXer Yea I’ve watched all the episodes but now that I know about the protesters I want to want to watch it again. I know they’re always pumped to perform but just knowing that THEY know they’ll have to perform despite people protesting makes the episode a little more emotional. At least to me 🤷🏽♀️ Thanks!
@@ericag4597 There's a clip from them singing Run to You, Jacksonville, FL ... watch that. You can actually hear the protestors in the background and notice them singing louder than usual (especially Mitch) to drown them out.
@GeriatricPTXer I just watched it. Thanks! That was pretty amazing. PTX is always wonderful but to perform under such circumstances, sing beautifully and combat the protesting with their talent and maturity is really awesome 👍🏽❤️ Hope they don’t go through anything like that again.

@paulinsky53 It was a homophobic church group protesting Mitch and Scott's sexuality. I find it heartwrenching to watch. Scott looks so devasted and exhausted at the end.

I died when they were asked what kind of Christmas tree they liked and Avi went on and on with a very composed and serious tone on the level of bushiness he liked while Kevin was doubled over laughing his ass off.
The part of Mitch in the tribute to Star Wars is, to say the least, sublime. Absolutely incredible!

@@aks799 We still gotta hold out hope for them, I imagine we'll still get music from them (as well as PTX) at some point. Hopefully they'll give us some sort of content too, and I'm sure that they're aware ppl are restless.

Although Mitch's performance during Aha! deserves all the credit that it receives, I wish that Avi got a little more. He set the tone at the beginning and set the foundation for Mitch (and the rest of the group) to deliver that performance.

OMG you put in the moment i suggested of them singing lion sleeps tonight. i love that so much cus it shows how adorable that are and that they are complete dorks but we love them so much. and YAAAAAASSSSSS to them for drowning out the protesters. As proven by Ariana Grande, music has the power to drown out the most abhorrent actions and people and can bring whole ass cities together in defiance, in unity and in love.
