I didn't see that stewardess smile once! And what was she talking about "If you didn't order it you cannot have it."? Was there a problem with a meal or something? The food looked great though. Now I'm hungry! :)
I feel that her tone was rather rude.
I think she was referring to special meals, as somebody would’ve probably asked if they could have vegetarian (most Asian airlines do two meat options) and was responded with that way. Good future knowledge though. As a omnivore I’m grateful to have two meat choices. But normally I ask for a seafood meal as they are generally of higher quality.
I think when she was telling the passenger off I think it could be justified in the respect that somebody did order a vegetarian meal and it would be annoying if they didn’t get a vegetarian meal. I’m just saying that could be the reason, and if she had served it to the demanding passenger then the passenger who actually ordered it would’ve been quite cross. (Rather annoyingly, Thai never load veg meals except on India flights)
Also, about the stewardess not smiling, I think it’s just because that particular flight would be quite tiring for crew (midnight overnight flight and she would’ve only gotten 3 hours of sleep) but honestly that’s no excuse for being rude.
