Im 100% on Fionas side here. She spent her entire childhood raising her siblings. She deserves to live her adult life without raising THEIR kids too.
yeah, she had to be an adult in her childhood, give all her life for them, and now with support they still rely on her to do ALL, she warned debbie about the pregnancy, Fiona deserve all thegoods in the world

@@jao4447 Obviously she can’t control the chaos but she is legally responsible for them all as she signed up to be their legal guardian so she can’t exactly walk away neither, tho I believe that plot point is quickly forgotten in the rest of the show.
For me what fiona is doing is trying to catch the horse after the cart is already gone. the kids were taught to use the squirrel fund so everyone stays afloat but they weren't taught how to be strong functional adults. The only way any of them will get ahead is by having each others backs but still be honest enough to calmly call your siblings out when they are being out of line

I absolutely am, though it's not a popular opinion to have maybe, on Frank's side in this storyline. Yeah, his reason are surely not pure. But what he's ending up doing is so valid and absolutely right and that community meeting... we KNEW it was going to go that way. it doesn't mean that it SHOULD. because for ONCE Frank actually made sense and said some real-ass shit. But that council is a bunch of Karens who don't give two shits.

Haven't watched the video yet, but I'm pretty scared for him to react to Trevor 😅 most of the fandom seems to absolutely loathe him, but apart from that scene with his friends where the writers were trying to make them as irritating and confusing as possible, and a couple of unfortunate lines (which obviously every character has anyway) I really like his character. One of the first properly fleshed out depictions of a trans guy I saw in media, and he's also played by Elliot Fletcher (who is very good looking), it's very unusual for trans people to be portrayed as both human and desirable.
Fiona is rightfully over playing parent but she seems to forget she can still be their sister rather than being so hostile toward everyone.
Debbie definitely needs help & support but she could easily get it from parenting groups rather than trying to rely on her already overwhelmed family,
Plus she needs called out on her behaviour when she doesn’t get her way as she very quickly begins to mimic frank.
she also forgot (or the writers did) that she’s all the kids legally guardian until liam is 18.

I think one thing they didn't think of, is Fiona could introduce her to parenting groups. There's no way Debbie knows about them on her own.
I agree that Fiona needs to give Debbie a reality check, but it’s fucked up to show her a job to apply for then come in the middle of her interview with the baby, knowing that she most likely won’t get the job. Plus, u charging her rent and now she can’t get the job that was supposed to help with that. Like it’s a reality check, but I think she’s also doing more harm than good.

My unpopular shameless opinion is that truthfully for the % of time that up to S7 Mickey and Ian had been a healthy couple for, Ian should've never run back to Mickey and should've simply ended up with Trevor.
i don’t think disliking a trans character falls completely on transphobia of them being trans isn’t the problem? most people just don’t like him purely because he isn’t mickey, that isn’t a problem

I honestly don’t see a reason people dislike him. The only reason I think people do is because he isn’t Mickey, and while a love Mickey, I really enjoyed Trevor’s presence. Ian is allowed to date someone else when Mickey is literally on the run from the cops lol

He took care of homeless lgbt youth and had a lot more about him to get into the show just failed him as a character not the other way around. His whole character is his sexual identity and not even anything deeper than that. It’s sad. They have no chemistry either. There was no shred of anything that even hinted they loved each other. He should’ve just been a friend of anything. He also pushes Ian to do unhealthy stuff he doesn’t want to and shames him on a LOT of things. It’s uncomfy. The show could have done a way better job at introducing more LGBTQ+ rep than this whole storyline which gets worse as the show progresses. Also no where did I say who I prefer Ian with neither, you just proved my point in the original comment lmfao. Anyway. I’m not gonna have an argument in the comment section of this guys video.
