- Here's something I played after just pressing record on the computer and letting things unwind naturally. You can play Genos 2 live without lots of button pushing - and all controls are readily accessible to change on the fly.
Easy to use and a joy to play. Hope you like it.

Just ordered mine because of these videos, I've wanted an arranger for 15 years since playing a little with tyros in a music store, even though I'm really bad at piano as a woodwind player.

Thanks fir your channel. I currently own a tyros 5 and thinking of purchasing a Genos 2. I currently have many backing tracks saved as wave files on my tyros 5 . Will I be able to stores these backing tracks on the Genos 2

Stunning skill as always! I so would love a Genos 2, sold my Tyros 5 and regretted it, but then I discovered the Genos 2 and you! I'm 71 this month, and have bad arthritis in my fingers, none anywhere else thankfully, but as a professional equestrian, watercolourist and lifelong pianist/, keyboard player, its such a pain having the joints so swollen and stiff, although I can still play, I doubt its worth me laying out nearly £4000 in case I can't get sufficient use of it. Is there any way one can hire for a month anywhere?

Leigh I’ve been playing a lot of ballroom using the ensemble voices. I would very much appreciate if you would give a demo using the ensemble voices and giving your verdict. Many thanks in anticipation.
I don’t ever use the ensemble voices. The only feature on genos I would never use.
One likes to experiment ie play classical with a pop rhythm and vis versus and playing with ensemble voices I find that they sound to be in a different key to the one I’m playing . I can understand why you don’t use them. Thanks for the reply .

Leigh, I see your left hand chords with your thumb on the third G. Do you have the base chords that high, higher, or just a habit that you place your thumb there? I know, or at least I thought I knew, Stranger in Paradise quite well but never heard the second part that you played. The lyrics of "I saw your face and I ascended"

Leigh, I just watched your video using the audio file feature ( loaded 4 months ago) I just want to know if it simply plays the audio file as is, and you have to play along in that key/ timing, or does it transpose it to whatever key and timing you set on the keyboard ?
You have to make sure timing and key are the same

I have a genos and have always thought you need a split point. I see you dont, how do I get out of the split point and will the keybpoard play just the same . I am 80 yr.old, very amateur

Played organ for years when I was younger. Have an old Yamaha from the 80s that still works perfect. Haven’t played for a while, but your videos are inspiring me to start playing again. I love the Genos 2, but will probably have to get a used genos 1 if I can find one at the right price. If not, then will go with an sx900, which is also a really great instrument. I love your ear and the fun you bring to your videos. Best demos and tutorials on the web. Play on my friend! Play on! Always anxious for the next one. Wish there were as many keyboard stores in the states as there appear to be in the UK! 😁
What happened with the Hammond keyboard you were trying out ,what did you think to it?
It was just too complicated to use. The tiny screen made it so hard to play and overall I loved the sound but the control of it was a nightmare.
