Me too. But his albums are like character progressions in movies and tv shows. At the current moment, he is making the music that he has always wanted to make. He has said before in an interview that he has always wanted to make pop music. Everyone’s version of pop is different, and his take on pop mixed with psych and his energetic free flowing drum style is what makes Tame Impala, Tame Impala. His singles he’s been releasing since The Slow Rush are hints of what his future sound would be. Maybe we’ll be surprised, who knows. But as a musician myself, I would personally hate to have to make music I wouldn’t want to make. Just enjoy the ride brother, he won’t ever disappoint.
