I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Just thought of doing another simple DIY that helps in long chain life by changing the front sprocket.

I did same in my R15 since 2008 to 2019.
In 9-10 years between I only change 4 times, full chain sprocket...

@@larsenation thanks mate and my concern about subtitles is thatI have another channel in english but that's only for Himalayan. Now idea was to eventually start posting other bikes DIY there in english and himalayan DIYs here in hindi, when I have ridden enough and have to do those maintenance jobs the second time. But that might take time.
Another concern of mine is adding subtitles, ammm how do I put it. ' I am too tooo lazy ' 😴
But any queries that I can help with will be my pleasure.

Thanks mate. And used oil will not do any good. Rather go for gear oil. Or chain lube. But not engine oil

Sir..i do own a r15v3 bs4 last version.from the day of delivery my bike has a left tilting issue when the rider take the hands off the handle bars...now within 10k kms front tyre has 1side slided more.can u plz suggest me anything... because showroom and authorised technicians even didnt solved any issues till now.

Did you have any minor accidents? If so handle might be all right but the forks could be off set. ।।।youcould also try changing the axle

Bhai can we put R15 BS4 exhaust to BS6 bike so that we can get back some of the HP lost?
There would be very small amount of gain for the price of exhaust. very small because cat con. mostly its the ecu remapping that is helping the pollution norms. if you are a track rider its better to go for piggybacks like powertronic but remember it will shorten the life of engine if not properly done. but track riders are ok with rebuilding there engines after shorter then stock bikes so if you are a track rider, that should be ok
@@farcerides7041 Thanks for the reply. I will be riding for the street only. But I will be very much happy if its got that little more punch. Drawn towards FFE but I don't like their sound. Also need to retune the ecu or use piggyback as you said so got stuck. Do you have any suggestions on improving the performance without creating noise or reducing the engine life considerably?
@@Vtrontv yes mate, piggy backs like powertronic do increase power but remember that you will be taking extra care of engine going engine oil top ups and frequent oil changes and valve clearence etc Otherwise with piggyback will ruin engine in matter of few 1000 kms

Generally speaking changing the front sproket between 12 to 15000 kms depending on condition of wear and tear can add atleast another 12 to 15000 kms to the life to chain and rear sprocket.
I changed mine at 13000 kms. Lets see how far this one goes

Bro my r15v3 got some problem. it's only done 5000km.and 2 service done but it was not as smooth as after first service. And at 4k to 5k rpm feel like lag in speed
Thoda detail mei matlab kya kya change kiya ta. Ye list hai. Engine oil change, oil filter change, air filter clean, Spark plug clean and adjust, chain adjust. Ye sab huya ta? aur kintne kms chal chuki service ke baad
Kuki 5000 ok to bike mei kuch ni hota. Unone service mei hi kuch miss ker diya hoga.
Aur lag 4 se 5 ke beech mei chain jyada tight ki wajeh se bi ho sakta.
Mera to service center se sallon se bharosa nai.
@@farcerides7041 only oil filter ani engine oli change in 2 service and chain lube clean after 500 km my bike ride like loss off accleration and pickup feels like not getting full power off engine and nit feels smooth
@@jayeshgore4640 few things that you must try, first air filter clean. Second spark plug clean and adjust gap properly. And third, please check if chain is too tight. Service center sometimes over tighten the chain that gives poor performance. What air pressure do you use front and rear

Mene lagake try Kia ta. Acceleration MRI tida sa improvement ta. But har gear me speed kam. Koi khaas phayeda nai dika. But sabki apni personal preference alag hoti hai.

Spare sprocket to nahi milta r15 v3 ka. Pura chain set milta hai. Aapne vo 14t sprocket kon se bike ka liya?
Milta hai bhai but saare showroom waale nai rakte. But bade showroom aur service center waale rakte hai. Ya order pe mangwa bi dete hau. Maine Karol bagh mei ek yamaha ka godown hai nai waala Gali mei udar se liya tha is baar. But v2 ka pehle kai baar service center se pyar se request kerke bi liya hai

Its normally available at service centers. If its not you can ask them to order it and they should be able to get it. Might take time, but they can get it.
