I liked it when he confronted his sister with the truth that she is the one who chose to marry and wasn't forced by him or her father. He even warned her that if she wanted a devoted husband she shouldn't marry him. Trying to blame everything on others is just her not accepting her wrong choice since she is not the only queen now. Love when her brother says if not for him and her father how could someone willful and selfish like her secure her position. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to marry her.

Xiao Yao has always loved Xiang Liu. From the beginning of series 1, whenever Xiang called, she went to him even though he treated her roughly. She made poisons for him and willingly gave her blood even though it was painful. Xiang unselfish love for Xiao stopped him from starting a relationship with her as he knew that he would have to abandon her just like her family. Xiang pushed Xiao to Tushan Jin as he knew that Jin would give her the lifelong devotion that she wanted. Cang Xuan and Tushan Jin both loved Xiao for reasons to do with themselves. Jin's personality however coincided with Xiao' s needs.
Since season 1, XL forced Xiao Yao to give him her blood as medicine and mistreated her. On the other hand, she hugged, kissed and had warm body contact with Jing, whom she even kissed, hugged and combed her hair like a wife. At least until episode 16 of the second season (currently broadcast in my country), XY told Xian Lu that she likes him as a friend...I don't know if in the last three episodes, she will fall madly in love with him. ..
Idk what you’re watching. But Xiao Yao has always loved Jing. She has basically confessed to him 2x. She confessed when he was in his coma in season one and when they got back together season two. We have literally watched her yearn for Jing.

At the beach, she was remembering the time before when Jing kissed her respectfully on the forehead and she knew that he was dying to kiss her. In season 2, when Jing was dying, she also remembered his hisses and told him that she wanted him to live and be like the wolf again when he kissed her.

Because of Cang Xuan's interference. The mourning period is over. Jing was about to propose but XY wanted more time to compile her medical books. It was CX who brought up the topic that after becoming Lady Tushan she won't be able to do her compilation and all as the Tushan elders would disapprove of it. The dark lines, buried deep in her heart, reveal her unspoken deep love for Xiang Liu and her yearning for him. Therefore, even in the novel, YaoLiu's love is not obvious to the casual reader. In the drama, YaoLiu's love is even more hidden than in the original novel, likely due to censorship reasons. Many intimate scenes between YaoLiu were omitted in the drama, such as Xiang Liu kissing Xiao Yao's forehead after comforting her about her parentage. Conversely, YaoJing's romance was played up in the drama. Since season 1, XL forced Xiao Yao to give him her blood as medicine and mistreated her. On the other hand, she hugged, kissed and had warm body contact with Jing, whom she even kissed, hugged and combed her hair like a wife. At least until episode 16 of the second season (currently broadcast in my country), XY told Xian Lu that she likes him as a friend...I don't know if in the last three episodes, she will fall madly in love with him. ..
Idk what you’re watching. But Xiao Yao has always loved Jing. She has basically confessed to him 2x. She confessed when he was in his coma in season one and when they got back together season two. We have literally watched her yearn for Jing.

She was sad when he died, but not over the top crazy bawling when thought Jing was dead. Even when XL probed her about who she wanted to be with, she chose Jing. I base my opinion on having read and studied the novel (both the English translation and parts of the original Chinese version), parts of the Chinese leaked script, as well as having read analyses from many other readers, including those with master's degrees in Chinese literature who have studied the novel in depth.
In the novel, Xiao Yao's feelings are depicted through both dark and light lines. The light lines, visible to everyone, show her supposed "love" for Jing. The dark lines, buried deep in her heart, reveal her unspoken deep love for Xiang Liu and her yearning for him. Therefore, even in the novel, YaoLiu's love is not obvious to the casual reader. In the drama, YaoLiu's love is even more hidden than in the original novel, likely due to censorship reasons.
Many intimate scenes between YaoLiu were omitted in the drama, such as Xiang Liu kissing Xiao Yao's forehead after comforting her about her parentage. Conversely, YaoJing's romance was played up in the drama.
