- From the Quick Draw McGraw show, here are some short skits with Quick Draw McGraw, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy, which introduced the Augie Doggie cartoons.
(1) Scalp / (2) Sarsaparilla / (3) Firewood / (4) Masquerade Party / (5) Duck Hunting / (6) Beach Ball / (7) Horsepower / (8) Self Defense / (9) Elephant Gun
God I miss watching these in the early 70’s as a little man
Why can’t these cartoons, like Huckleberry Hound and the other similar cartoons, be reran on TV? They’re A LOT better than the ones they show now days.
because now-a-days cartoons are all about "the message" and subconciously brainwashing kids to accept it.
I agree!
"what are you going to do now ougie? scalp me?" AHAH today the social media would have the show removed in 2 seconds!
Haven't seen this in over fifty years. It comes from an era which has vanished now.
I miss those cartoons i got a few dvds
My dear ole dear ole Dad of mine. Hmmm Hahaha back when I was a lil terror, I enjoyed watching these cartoon's on Saturday morning's. Even Snuggle Puss, exit stage left Even lol
Snaggle, not Snuggle ! I loved him !
@@steerpike1359 You tell'em Chris. A 'Mr. Know-It-All' like me. "EEEVVAAAN!"
AWWW so cute....and I so love Quickdraw. I had a Cowboys shirt made up with Quickdraw with a Cowboys jersey on...sooo cute.
That's Yogi and boo boo!! 😂
These classic HB Cartoons were awesome.
The wonderful word, " interstitials" brought me here.
I just called my puppy Augie.
Dat"s my boy who said dat!
That was a A reference to a radio show in the 1940s with Jimmy Durante and Gary Moore
They could've used Quick Draw for some horse power bum dum ching. Thank you thank you I'm here all week

Augie doggie looks cute
Doggie Daddy always said Frutti Tutti
Looks like an assortment of different animators on each one... Don Patterson definitely did a couple of these
The second "Bar" interstitial looks to be his work.
That's my boy ! .....ha-cha-cha !!!!
Doug Young could do a great Durante impression....that why H-B chose him as "Doggie Daddy's" voice.
Thank you.
I love Hanna Barbera cartoons
The Best!!
Dear old dad. 😊
The duck hunting clip at 1:30 looks to be animated by Michael Lah, who must have been freelancing at that time (he did some limited animation for Hanna-Barbera in 1958-59, but I thought he left for good after that). Also looks like Ken Muse did the "self-defense" clip. As to the others, no idea.
(9 years later) Definitely looks like it, the man did some distinct mouth shapes
Hey, Quick Draw has a hand instead of a hoof in the first one.
I really like the different variations of the theme song.
I imagine he'd have his work cut out for him trying to draw his gun with a hoof.
Classic
Lol I watch this at school today
Really, at recess
Classic.
3:08 Who needs bullets when you have peanuts?
diddy Kong
Augie changed his gender into a girl. When Jellystone released 3 years later.
These were originally seen (in black and white) between 1959 and '61.
Great cartoon
Well, they were in black & white if you watched them on TV because there were no colour TVs back then, but in the theatre (where they were originally meant to be shown) they were in full colour !
@@steerpike1359 Colour T.V came to Canada,1966?. Like the U.S. only in prime time. "See that house...they've got colour T.V.!" "(GASP) Wow!!!" (Regards, Mr. Know-it-All.)
0:17 Tree killer!
Quick draw mgraw should mind his own business 😂
Thank you for this ! Oh boy, I sure miss these guys ! Where's Huckleberry Hound and Yogi Bear ?
❤
I wonder what happened to Auggie's mom?
Probably accidentally shot by Quick Draw

I think there were also some with Snooper and Blabber as well.
There was a "bumper" for each of them that led into their own cartoon segment.............

Como puedo poner los programas en castellano
The jokes and the way they talk sound so weird now!
Voice actor 'Daws Butler', a Hanna-Barbera staple. WB had Mel Blanc.
