This entire video I'm screaming internally when you're passing by red toolboxes, and not going under the gas station for the mining loot.

Cool video! Not sure if it was an intentional restriction, but I noticed that you regularly ignored the red tool boxes early on. I personally prefer these over barrels early-game, as most things give a 50% chance at 1 component too. If you didn't know: they're massive early-game for recyclable for metal frags, prim armor, shotgun shells, and prim tools. About a 16% chance for pick+hatchet (50 wood & 38-63 frags). A 14% chance for wood plate+legs (150 wood + 50% chance for rope). 8% chance for some type of ammo. 6% chance for CCTV/Laptop). 8% chance for binoculars (~26 frags). 10% chance for diving equipment (38-50 frags). Plus everything else on the drop table gives some other type of component + scrap. Also: the mini-cave under the gas station can spawn low-grade, flares for GP, and GP. About a 16% total chance for ~18GP average.

Substation tool chests are mostly quest boxes, so they don't have loot like 50%of the time

You could have farmed the crate at the bottom of the ladder in the hole in the gas station and recycled the flares that usually spawn down there for gp.

for lowgrade and gunpowder you could have farmed the boxes that spawn underneath oxums carlift for mining hats and flares.
Should do 1 square per kill next time, that way you have the chance to progress slowly around the map and have to be mindful of your grid selection

As a fellow solo I have to admit the amount of times he passed those tool boxes & didn’t loot them is soo aggravating.

You can craft eoka for bullets, and recycle Handmade Shell for gp if you need pistol bullets. For example 5 crafted eoka will give you 8 pistol bullets(if you recycle Handmade Shells). In recources it will be 190 wood and 75 metal frags(if we recycling eoka - than even less). If you have no wood, you can craft revos with bullets - than for 8 bullets you need 2 pipes 50 cloth and 250 frags(if recycle revos you will have back 50% as usual). Anyway thanks for the video!)

36:08, You need to put a Shotgun Trap behind the Vending Mechine. Yeah they have High HP, but they are easyer to break then the door.

Considering he is STUCK with only gas station, I would advise a Dup site like under the car lift.. that way he can Dump good things and return for them later.

binoculars give metal frags and rarely gears, and diving tanks give REALLY good recycle but I don't remember exactly what, it's a type of component I BELIEVE pipes or gears and HQM and or metal frags
I enjoyed watching you be masochistic to yourself by locking yourself to one grid and realizing your problem with that strategy. Maybe one day someone will make a game mode where you have to do something in order to unlock each grid and that could be fun or a struggle if it were imposed on everyone in a server. Could be a fun experiment actually. Especially if you get paddled by the game if you try to go beyond your area. :p
Do a wipe where you are stuck to underwater labs, that would be hell for sure.

You should do this again but on one of the servers where you can build in/on gas station so you can block a recycler

Mining outpost could be an interesting concept for a wipe, usually closer to nodes, still get the scrap/etc, you'd lose the greens though.

Pretty fun to watch and a interesting concept, being locked to say outpost and the tunnel system beneath could be a fun and interesting one. Just have a small base as close to outpost as possible, that way anything you earn in the tunnels can then be traded for materials you desperately need, and the option to scrap smoke grenades and such for gunpowder in the beginning. Just spitballing my ideal challenge if i were going to do one personally.
So hide in a place where you cant get attacked the whole game? Why even play at that point? You must be one of those PVE players.

The toolboxes were quest boxes so only the person on the quest can loot them.
im kind of a p.o.s in which i like to build as absolutely close to supermarket as i can. and i just sit on top of the locker in the back room with a db for hours and farm everybody. guaranteed to get you raided but its a helluva fun time lol

How about you are locked on one grid but you can only use a monument (any) when you kill some one (if you die you need to kill again).
Guy takes a db out once and gets crazy amounts of resources but then never takes it out again because he doesn't have shells but won't just craft eokas for the shells
brits too wholesomes, too many laughs, and he is trash for an 8k hour player and never takes on big fights for loot like spoonkid or etc. part o' why i havent subbed yet
