Cool video! Not sure if it was an intentional restriction, but I noticed that you regularly ignored the red tool boxes early on. I personally prefer these over barrels early-game, as most things give a 50% chance at 1 component too. If you didn't know: they're massive early-game for recyclable for metal frags, prim armor, shotgun shells, and prim tools. About a 16% chance for pick+hatchet (50 wood & 38-63 frags). A 14% chance for wood plate+legs (150 wood + 50% chance for rope). 8% chance for some type of ammo. 6% chance for CCTV/Laptop). 8% chance for binoculars (~26 frags). 10% chance for diving equipment (38-50 frags). Plus everything else on the drop table gives some other type of component + scrap. Also: the mini-cave under the gas station can spawn low-grade, flares for GP, and GP. About a 16% total chance for ~18GP average.
You can craft eoka for bullets, and recycle Handmade Shell for gp if you need pistol bullets. For example 5 crafted eoka will give you 8 pistol bullets(if you recycle Handmade Shells). In recources it will be 190 wood and 75 metal frags(if we recycling eoka - than even less). If you have no wood, you can craft revos with bullets - than for 8 bullets you need 2 pipes 50 cloth and 250 frags(if recycle revos you will have back 50% as usual). Anyway thanks for the video!)

You could have farmed the crate at the bottom of the ladder in the hole in the gas station and recycled the flares that usually spawn down there for gp.
I enjoyed watching you be masochistic to yourself by locking yourself to one grid and realizing your problem with that strategy. Maybe one day someone will make a game mode where you have to do something in order to unlock each grid and that could be fun or a struggle if it were imposed on everyone in a server. Could be a fun experiment actually. Especially if you get paddled by the game if you try to go beyond your area. :p

Considering he is STUCK with only gas station, I would advise a Dup site like under the car lift.. that way he can Dump good things and return for them later.

if you go in a team with guys on this game can they get into your base easy? cos in 7 days to die when people pretended to want to be my friend, they found out where my base was and raided it.. so i no longer accept friend requests on that game
im kind of a p.o.s in which i like to build as absolutely close to supermarket as i can. and i just sit on top of the locker in the back room with a db for hours and farm everybody. guaranteed to get you raided but its a helluva fun time lol

Should do 1 square per kill next time, that way you have the chance to progress slowly around the map and have to be mindful of your grid selection

Mining outpost could be an interesting concept for a wipe, usually closer to nodes, still get the scrap/etc, you'd lose the greens though.
