Welcome! I can’t imagine how brave you have to be to put yourself out there on TH-cam! Thank you for sharing. Anthurium is my fave genus. I don’t know anything about crossing them except there are categories within the genus and you can only cross the same category. I love a lux cross too so if it is compatible, cross that king of spades with a lux! Or maybe a queen or waterburianum to get the long pointy leaves? I also really love super round leaves but I’m not sure what would give that shape…clarinervium maybe? Clearly I have no idea how to cross them but I am subbing to watch your journey.💚🍀💚

i have a luxurians x bassae aff and it is very similar and it's indeed my most beautiful possession :D
very dark and shiny
i think luxurians genes are very dominant so - whatever it's crossed with tends to look a lot more like the luxurians than like the other parent, so - i have a feeling if you cross it with king of spades it would lose a lot of what makes it unique.. i'd try to maybe cross it with something else

I think i saw some seedlings of KoS x Lux / Lux x KoS going around in the market here in Indonesia. But at the same time there's also Lux x Dorayaki seedling too... and they're look quite similar at the seedling stage.

That Chrystalinum x Luxurians gives me Monstera Peru vibes, but you don’t have to worry about it getting as big.
Have you heard of the Philodendron Sharoniia? Hope I’m spelling that right. Great dark-leaf kinda plant. Velvety.

I think the king of spades x Lux would be insteresting to see, especially since they both sort of vein in different places on the leaf I’d be interested to see which parentage shows up more

I grow in a few different mediums but I love using moss for rooting , sometimes they stay in moss for longer than they should! My preferred media is a chunky aroid mix.

I have never seen this cross but I think KOS x Lux would be cute but they always just end up looking more like Lux. Like anything you cross with it ya know? But maybe that would be dope if it was a big round lid. So maybe that and then also cross KOS x NSE Red crystal.
