      +Tamir Malema Rice its all abt the speech. im not a polition . but a man of those words deserves a bloody vote

    • @kotieerwee2593
      @kotieerwee2593 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Tamir Malema Rice He did not deliver a speech with just words, he presented the facts and statistic and proved himself (and his party) a man of action.

    • @kotieerwee2593
      @kotieerwee2593 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Tamir Malema Rice I agree, but what I said is that he showed the statistics that proved that action has allready been taken to accompany his words.

    • @kotieerwee2593
      @kotieerwee2593 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Tamir Malema Rice I didnt say he said what specific actions he did. I said he gave statistics, for example the school pass rates and the university acceptance rate which is the highest in the country and it went up under the DA where as it went down and was far lower for the rest of the country. This would not possible without "action" from the state. I may not know what specific actions he is taking, but seems like he is doing something right. feel free to differ from me as this is a free country and your opinion matters as much as mine, but I do not care enough about this argument to continue, so all the best.

    I'm no racist and i hate no one i was merely born in apartheid i did not experience any apartheid things, but my question is why only 8 million we all know the unemployment rate is higher than 8 million in a country of 50 million or more only lets say 30 million pay tax, 30 million can find work or already have work the rest of the 20 million, 5 million or 10 million have a national degree or diploma that's absolutely useless because of the government, so they study international degree's or diplomas and of that 5 to 10 million well educated people be it black or white leave the country and work overseas there our country has lost money, the rest of the 10 million is the unemployed they are the ones with national degrees or diplomas that no company will accept because no one trusts our education systems anymore they are the ones that cant find work even with grade 12 they are the ones who lets be honest are lazy and wont merely look for work and only live on government grants free of charge no tax, you guys keep bringing up apartheid as if its still here that was 20 years ago get over it there's children born in the year 2000 or later and they go on as if they fought the struggle for freedom, why? because you guys yes Mmusi Maimane as well that keep yelling apartheid give them that reason to fight as if they were part of Nelson Mandela's group of freedom fighters, but in the end i will vote DA and see what happens but we have to keep in mind that Jacob Zuma sang the same tunes about Mbeki before he became president and look where we are now in the drain. BEE does not work it will never work it only relieves the competent person from doing his job what his good at and then replace him with someone else for the country to be great again it need to go and get the people in that can do the job and do it right be it black or white no matter the skin color and let them help the ones that can not do it reach their full potential. BEE is a money making scheme that only enriches the government and robs the poor and make them even more poor and then the end result will be unemployment, BEE breaks down small businesses and then unemployment rises because the owner knows that it will not work he closes his doors and leaves the country where no one will force him to take in someone he doesn't know to be his "business partner". the farmers get killed or their land gets taken away like in Zimbabwe and in the end who will produce the goods we need to survive. land reform or whatever you call it does not work Zimbabwe tried it and they failed. why only young black children what about young white children or young colored children or young Indian children they also need help not only the black children everything needs to benefit everyone not only the few.
    Mmusi Maimane can be the president we (white or Black, Indian or colored) wanted and the one to save us from eternal doom, but he can also be another Jacob Zuma sing the song people want to hear get the power and change the tune.
    so Mr Maimane lets hope you are the one we have been waiting for the brave knight on the white horse and not the dark knight of death to the country its easy to talk harder to do. Goodluck to you and the DA as i said i will vote once again DA as i always did.

      +Freddie Joubert I do believe though that unlike Mmusi Maimane, Zuma had no education.

    • @renameduser6886
      @renameduser6886 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Ryan Duncan Zuma has no education and Mugabe does and Mugabe is the only president in Africa with the highest education and look where they are today, so education cant always help you it can help you do the job better but in the end you do the thinking not the paper.
      but its as i said it can go two ways and we can only vote and find out and I'll happily vote DA again and see what happens. I'll support them all the way.

      Freddie are you suggesting that a better programme than BEE be sought in place or the status quo; just continue without any adjustment...(not pay attention to the previously disadvantaged community). In case I did not get your proposition…

      You're not taking into account that out of the 50 million people in south Africa, half are minors and can not work... so they don't fall into that group

  • @georgelabe-assimo4365

    As an American observer to the whole thing, I've seen the ANC go from a genuine freedom-loving group that worked with the DA's predecessor the Democratic Party to a corrupt, money-grubbing crony den. I'm starting to like the DA in terms of their political ideals (even as a moderate social conservative). However, what is their demographic? I know a lot of them are black voters and the majority are whites....but what about the leadership? I'm genuinely curious as a foreign observer.

    • @keryn4533
      @keryn4533 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The majority of the minority (white) and "colored" (mixed race) vote for the DA. Funny enough the DA controls only the Western Cape Province (State) and the other 8 provinces are controlled by the ANC. Their support has increased over the past few years and the ANCs has decreased. They have a better track record (service delivery, education etc) than all the parties represented in Parliament

    • @vincentsavary16
      @vincentsavary16 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      sadly the demographics are the problem but as i live in the western cape i know how much they have in number but the DA will rise and you might be surprized of what can happends in south african politics. ;)
