We’ve been in Siracusa and Ortigia the past 5 days. Scorching hot but lots of fun. Dinner tonight at Divino Mare - a very atypical Sicilian restaurant that serves innovative dishes. They serve Occhipinti SP68 bianco by the glass!

I just got back from a week in Ortigia, what an awesome place! Highlights were Pizzeria Schiticchio for probably the best pizza I've ever had, Enoteca Solaria for a bottle of SP68 bianco. Also, shoutout to the restaurant MOON - Move Ortigia Out of Normality, very nice vegan restaurant! I never ate so much Cannoli in one week!

As everyone can realizes many cities of Sicily are plenty of history, beautiness, etcetera and, too much often are in less os care.
Surely my friends Eszter and Alfred don't know that Ortigia, many years ago (roughly 40 years ago) was completely neglected and was prostitutes Kingdom . Fortunally, I can't explain why, but fortunately it happened, the council realized what treasure was and prostitutes were kicked away and, slowly slowly Ortigia became that treasure you can stare.
The same happened on Catania around teatro Massimo Bellini.
