These cheap indesits sell like hotcakes I've noticed. In uk anyway, not sure about other countries, but here they are big. Personally ive had trouble with indesit as the bearings went bad after 2 years.
Has the quality of Indesit improved ? When I lived in the UK the brand was affordable but less reliable.

It is more than likely the door locking mechanism locking the door. If it makes the same sound as it finishes the wash that's what it will be.

These new indesits come with updated drums with stronger bearing seals I think

The brand is not well known in Germany, although some online shops do sell "Hover" and "Russell Hobbs" products.
