Hi, this is really a good compressed presentation for a SIMCA introduction. Hope you get paid from Sartorius. There official vids are more "meh". Hope you extend the series with a PLS model and discriminant analysis

Thank you very much for this video tutorial! It is very useful for beginners like myself to learn how to perform PCA in SIMCA. Would you also consider doing one for how to to perform PLS-DA in SIMCA?

Thank you for sharing this. Easy to follow with precise information. Very helpful. Waiting for another video; may be on "classification" type data set.

Is it important to show 95% confidence ellipse in PCA? If my data is not drawing then what should i do ? can i used PCA score graph without 95% confidence ellipse?

Hi, I just tried this way for my data analysis. It was very useful and I am just wondering how do you do it for OPLS modelling. Looks the X & Y variable is a mandatory one. Any lights would be appreciated?

Sorry I have a stupid question, how do I make my variable a NON-primary/secondary ID so I can remove it?

      Two options.
      1) At the data import stage, you can exclude a row or column so that it isn't imported into the SIMCA workbook. The variables won't be usable in any models.
      2) You can exclude variables or observations after data has been imported by selecting them in the "Edit Model As..." window (see 24:00 on, approximately). This keeps the variables available for other models within the same workbook.
