I saw this movie many years ago.... I just found it again and I literally watched it four times.. It is such an amazing beautiful story... I've always danced since I was a teenager... I've always taken ballet...jazz and tap and have been in a few shows here and there and a couple of plays .. danced for a basketball team and did some belly dancing for restaurants.. which also required a lot of training..lol.....Years ago !!...but to actually make it to be a professional ballerina...omg... The dedication one cannot even fathom.. the immense amount of training and dedication along with a passion in your heart.. which basically is what the story was based on ... A passion in your soul.... such a beautiful movie❤

Camile never got the love and support that real family's should have whic is why she workd hard for the part despite not wanting that part at all. Regine pushed Camile way too much and Camile clearly has no time to reast beacouse Regine makes it clear Camile get's the part weather she likes it or not. So the truth is that Camile had absoulutly nothing against Felice but just wanted to be accepted for who she truly is and get the love of a real family. Good thing Camile stood up to Regine in the end. if Regine can't love Camile as she is and accept that she doesen't want to be a dancer than there is no point in contenuing on anymore beasides if Regine truly cared about Camile she wouldn't hurt Felice and try to ruin they're friendship this way. I know this isn't canon or anything like that, but when I first saw this a). love nora, but b). my head canon is that Nora is like Roseitta's daughter or little sister or something, literally because of that little detail that Roseitta reached out for Nora when she was eliminated. I want to say the same thing. Camille was influenced by her mother about what words are defined as being a “loser” and she didn’t get a moment of respite. So she will naturally use it to target any developing ballerinas like Felicie and didn’t realize that her mother bred her to become an arrogant and selfish bully. And repeatedly calling Felicie “nothing” is just downright humiliating. If I was in Felicie’s shoes I’ll have the exact reaction she’s having.

I love this movie sm, but I hated when they did a new voice over and changed the name from leap to ballerina. it was so much better before it was changed.
Actually it got changed from Ballerina to Leap in the US version (I looked it up) I got the german release of the DVD and the english voices are the original ones (at least the cover said so, I haven’t watched the english version yet) Maybe if you go for an european/canadian release you have a chance of getting the original voices Greetings from Germany :)
