Best succinct explanation of system found so far. Thanks!

Great video, I like the other too fat Lardies game “Sharpe Practice” for the black powder era. It had similar deployment and command mechanics but is a card based system instead of command dice.

Actually most tanks can’t deploy on a 1. Most tanks deploys and activates on a ’3’.
A ‘1’ is a team (which may or may not be a support option)
Tanks must deploy on a road IF ONE IS PRESENT otherwise anywhere on your base edge

A set of rules that isn’t tied to a particular scale or manufacturer isn’t really unique if you look at historical gaming compared to SciFi / Fantasy. Actually the reverse is closer to the truth as born out by the vast number of Miniature Manufacturers catering for historical gamers. And it’s also why historical gaming is so reasonable in cost / price because of competition in the market. Same same for rules.

Really good explanation. I am sure I will rewatch this video. What size bases did you use for your 15mm figures? I am looking to run a Barbarossa Campaign using these rules.
    Cheers!

They are US pennies. Mixed some sand and glue. Painted brown with a wash and some flock

What are the German markers from? And do they make American ones?

A buddy made them for me- they are painted poker chips.
