I just love this composer, and I so love the performance - so welcoming, life-affirming, well-measured and technically dazzling, literally a rainbow of poignant, heart-tugging notes, and tasteful twirls and joyous flourishs..... truly a piece for virtuostically minded yet comradely musicians such as this wonderful bunch.
