And movie Knuckles is more serious, patient, literal, confused, and naive, instead of stupid and gullible. The movie version of Amy could be more shy, nervous, kind of dorky, brave in battle, comedic, adventurous, and quiet with quiet with her feelings, instead of being obssessed and crazy. She can still be a huge Sonic fan, but more like a fan who wants to be his friend first and slowly develops feelings for him as time goes by and she gets to know him better. Like her character can be that she wants to meet Sonic thinking he's an all mighty hero, so she can learn to fight back against her bullies because other hedgehogs see her as a wimp.

So after seeing a lot of the characters in action in this cartoon I have summaries for all of them. Sonic: Pure Hero turned into sassy dorky teen hero. Tails: Mostly the same but a bit more naive and a slight butt monkey. Knuckles: Major downgrade for the sake of humor which while funny will tick people who like him a lot. Amy: Major upgrade who still keeps her original quirk of liking Sonic while giving her a much more well-rounded and funny personality. Sticks: Wild Child and an original character who I think needs to make an appearance in the game universe proper.
If they've continue Sonic Boom Cream the Rabbit, Cheese and Big the Cat would've been introduced and they would've been great friends with Amy and become Team Rose

I like how this is the most rounded iteration of the character like EVER. She's more like Sonic with a slight sarcasm and you'd believe they're friends. She still has a crush on him but isn't a maniac with a hammer. And he isn't trying to escape of her, actually they can hang out like friends. Also she likes nice things and has a sense of responsibility. That makes her more than just "the Sonic fangirl"
