This is my first Okuma spinning reel. I do have Okuma Cavalla IILX overhead and another older model of drum-type Okuma reel.

Compared to the older blue model the sizes changed now? Looks like the 8000 is about the same size as the older blue 6500 size?

I live in the US and I would like to know how I can get one of those models here. We have the really ugly all blue one and yours looks so much better.
